Monster Familiar Starter and Booster Packs

Starting October 27

Start your Monster Familiar collection off strong. You can buy one Starter Pack per account, and it contains four Familiars: Pig, Cloud Fox, Terrified Wild Boar, Red Drake. Booster Packs give out three random Familiars: two common and one uncommon or better. Double-click the packs in your item inventory to receive the cards, and double-click the cards to register them in your Crusader Codex. A familiar is available for thirty days after registering it.

Echo Megaphone

New Transformation Items

October 27 - November 9

Get dressed up this Halloween with bundles of brand new transformation items. Double-click one in the Cash tab of your item inventory to receive scrolls in the Use tab of your item inventory. Double-click the scrolls in the Use tab to change into a monster for ten minutes! Each bundle of five is 1,000 NX and will expire in thirty days if you don't use them.

I guess I like the Echo Megaphone since it's not cluttering up chat space. We'll see how it is though.

When I first saw the Echo Megaphone I thought it was across all Maple worlds...I'm still waiting for Nexon to introduce those.

I bet it will be crashing servers, as it will be spammed at a lot more than 1 per 5 seconds (at 99nx each, what smega whore can resist?), at least in some worlds.

Better there than in my chat window. I'd accept this as a complete replacement of the original smega system (notgonnahappen) but not as an extra way of spamming my screen with garbage I don't care about.

Same. It's hard to ignore the message when it's right in front of you.

Well it says it appears for 5 seconds, so unless they overlap each other when used in quick succession, the spam would be pretty slow paced xP

Still a bother to have on your screen at all times, especially in red, doesn't even seem transparent looking(though, I can't really tell from the screenshot they used).

Why would they call monster familiars a "collection"?

A collection of cards implies something you will keep forever, not for only 30 days.

Why would they give that option away for free when there's plenty of people willing to pay NX to block smega spam?
