i dunno, but wouldn't robin and batman be referred to as sidekicks or a team? one is stronger than the other, but it doesn't mean the sidekick relation is one-way. there's this comic about lesbian sidekicks i used to read.

I was pretty sure the sidekick thing was purely romantic until EVERYONE got a sidekick in the final chapters and then there were lots of mixed signals. Loved that comic so much.

Anyway, really glad that the Gachapon Wheel is indeed free, and majorly looking forward to the Cannon Shooter events; Sexy cannon is sexy

Not mentioned in the patch notes is these:

Each day, you must collect 6 Pirate King’s Treasure Map pieces. What does this have to do with Cannon Shooters? Well, if you keep collecting the map pieces, eventually you’ll start to find items that will help you raise your Cannon Shooter! You can collect the map pieces every 10 minutes, and each time you’ll get a Spring Water for Cannon Shooters. It gives 10% exp to Cannon Shooters less than level 50, 5% to levels 50~99, and it cannot be used by anyone level 100 or above. One Cannon Shooter can use up to 100 of these potions!

Permanent and rare as hell, or expiring and common? Choose one. The first is JMS. The second is how GMS should implement this.

Thing is, the booster pack in the CS makes it seem like they'll be expiring AND rare =S
Unless the cs versions are perma, but they would've mentioned that, I think.

CS versions shouldn't even exist and if they do, THEY should expire. But if you're going to be forced to hunt for something it should be something you get to keep forever, and it should be an achievement. Having them expire undermines the whole system as a serious addition to the game because there's no point in hunting for anything besides that one familiar that you REALLY want. And while that's all some people would ever do anyway, we should have the option to collect them as well since they fucked up the monster book.

By "should" i meant given that they've already clearly made up their minds on making them expire. Because they expire, they should be common.

Something tells me they are required to make them expire though since it isn't really their content. New monster book isn't technically theirs either but it's a fundamental system to any good game and it only hurts themselves to put a similarly crippling limitation on the monster book. This isn't so for familiar.

There would be absolutely no licensing benefit to such a concept.
They did this purely because they felt it would be more challenging and because they don't want to be thought of as a straight out copycat rip off.
And because it would give them more opportunity to sell NX items related to the expiration.

Oh, that's new to me.
Seems like to me they're fine with being straight out copycat ripoffs, judging from the fact that they copy/paste all their skill updates and map updates directly from KMS, add JMS events whole, and are historic for re-glitching supposedly "fixed" glitches in the next patch because that patch info doesn't contain the bugfix because it's delicious, delicious copypasta.
They're fine with making things not challenging. Look at the potential system. Look at the BB exp curve changes.

Obviously the former. Lol, I thought that it was semi-common in jMS judging by Shikage's vids. Guess I was wrong.

I really doubt GMS is getting the new revamps merged in the Legend update.
It's not finished yet in Korea.

At least it's confirmed that GMS will get the next major update (Legend) in December. The same month KMS will get another major update.

I don't know where you keep getting that we want to "beat" JMS, the staff never said they wanted to beat a version; its probably just you that wants to beat them.

Ring Mules don't work with LHC party bonus.

The last time we had these rings was back in May 2010, LONG before Big Bang came out in GMS, and the only "Viable" maps during that time were OB4 and Skele MDs. I won't be surprised if they don't work on the LHC bonus, but it'll add a 3rd line to our EXP gain, so it'll still be abused regardless.

Why is anyone here pretending like they know why Nexon made familiars time limited? No one here does unless they're on the staff, or have a personal connection to a staff member that knows the info themselves.

A familiar is available for thirty days after registering it in it in the Crusader Codex.
