[GMST] [1.02] Familiars

it'll be awesome if bm get the frostprey familiar and vice versa with mm. or adventurers getting cygnus sprites

as a I cygnus I'm totally getting the green bird from DRPQ

Also... some of the passive skills these familiars have are... stupid. There's the ones that make you shadowy... but only cosmetically. It doesn't seem to serve any other purpose other than making your character look like Dark Link sans the red eyes.

Then there's the stat boosters. I had my Tespia lv 130 Bishop try out this guy:

Probability - 60%
Passive - Increases INT by a large amount while summoned.

Yeah, when I summoned him, he only gives +3 additional INT. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

I don't see anything wrong with having Familiars not give outrageous boosts. I personally would use that shadow effect over most of the other ones, and that card you tried is Grade 0, so I'm pretty sure that's part of the reason for his intelligence boost to be so minuscule.

Anyway since no one else ocmmented on it it must be normal.. So yay for even more things to have attached to your persona? 3 people standing next to eachother is gonna look like a right crowd now..

That was some bug in JMS' Tespia if I recall correctly. Maple Admin gave out weapons with a few thousand attack or something.

I personally would use that shadow effect over most of the other ones...

But but... like the goggles, it does nothing (useful).

EDIT: Also, Cody only gives Grade 0 cards apparently, so I'll have to painstakingly find a card to see if there'll be some sort of difference. :/

I would be disappointed, he's Grade 0.

There are 2 star pixie cards, do you get it from the same monster?

Any NX Watch stuff to take note of in the upcoming patch?

Anyone notice Pink Bean's Passive? Either they forgot to change it, and it's going to crash people if it ever drops, or it's a clue that GMS will get Spirit weapons. Unless you already do, I haven't been keeping track of GMS all that much. Sorry if you already do.
