A response to the hackings.

FUUUU nexon I lost money in that hacking not just items.

Oh well guess it is what it is. Since I'm a 150 bishop I'm guessing I'll get the same exact thing.

A grand total of 2 items made it onto my equipment. The bandanna which matched my zhelm in stats after potting it, but it's blue so I'm gonna wear it.
The gloves which passed 4 of the gfma 60%'s is actually considerably worse than my level 90 gloves that I already had on.

Rest of it is pretty much throw away. I made my reverse overall and staff with maker and I won't be bothering to use the cheap P.O.S. staffs/wands/overall that they sent us.

What the hell is up with giving us a level 107 shield too... I don't want that thing why didn't they use reverse/timeless shields?

One last question: I just noticed I have 3? musical note chairs. Any idea where the hell those come from and why I have 3? I never noticed it until today because I generally don't use my setup tab.

All that needs to be said is that there is a fringe case that breaks any system. The greater good, which in this case is compensating the customer properly and with equivalent value to what was lost, is more important than accidentally paying a few people trying to scam the system as well. You shouldn't shoot down every method with some fringe case and claim it'd ruin the game if a few people scammed the system. You play a game run by hackers and big spenders, and you all continue on blissfully unaware of the state of the game you spend so much time on. If you haven't noticed it already, you won't notice the impact from this system either. You can't honestly believe this compensation is fair though, nor any compensation less than the amount lost. You must realize that free to play or not we are owed some customer service when events out of our control basically wipe our progress. Had you spent 6 years and thousands of dollars on a character, and lost it all in one fell swoop, something tells me you'd feel differently about what constitutes proper compensation.

The Log out gift is probably worth more than Nexon's self proclaimed "generous" compensation packages.

One last question: I just noticed I have 3? musical note chairs. Any idea where the hell those come from and why I have 3? I never noticed it until today because I generally don't use my setup tab.

There was a Golden Temple event a while back, about two months ago IIRC. Musical Note chairs dropped from the monsters that time, along with GM scrolls. Chances are that the hacker used your character to try to get some GM scrolls then, or you already got them during the event but forgot about them.

If you qualified for this, how does it appear? A lightbulb? Or do you have to talk to an admin?

You can't buy in mts with maple points. And wow... I lost every tradeable chair, a perfect vip staff and 70k nx and this is my compensation. Thank you Nexon.

The cheapest 60s I see in MTS are at 4780 NX for one.
If the NX ratio is still 1:50, that means buyers would be paying 239m for a single scroll.

The issue isn't that there are too many but that they're still overpriced when compared to alternatives.
30s and 70s are less than 1/3 of the price, and Chaos Scrolls are an even cheaper option.

I mean, I'd love some, but I couldn't afford to scroll half a glove with how much they are.

LOL typical. This is exactly what happened with the item-unlocks expiring items. Oh you lost a scrolled item? here! Have a CLEAN version of it! That should fix it!

I don't remember if I went to GT with my bishop or not for that event. Maybe I did it and forgot about it I wouldn't know for sure I don't play very often.

My compensation was from the Dec 09 hackings btw.
