You'd think that would make sense, but since it's 12 hours long, nexon tends to really pineapple up their times. So yeah. does it start tonight and END on the 19th? or start on the 19th, and end on the 20th?

Back when you needed a halloween costume, basically, a piece of NX clothes that qualified, to get into Haunted House, I'm assuming. It was only for that month, and then it was opened to everyone else, without the events.

You had to buy NX to enter the newly made haunted house.

Seems like nexon's just putting a new design and maybe a couple new items into a cash shop surprise and calling it a new product.

They better fix the freaking mount glitch.

See, no, those server-wide lag spikes that everyone experienced and that meant 21 second latency were client sided, really.

Gone are the times when Halloween on Maple was much more thrilling thanks to the GMS-exclusive updates such as the first release of the Prendergast Mansion! Those quests were a never-forget. The ONLY time I REALLY enjoyed my Halloween on Maple. All years after that were pretty much disappointing. Some content was more interesting, some less, but none ever reached the levels of those great quests inside the mansion about Jonas Prendergast, his daughter and his wife.

Oh well. At least we get something. HALLOWEEN SURPRISES!

At least back then MapleStory was a little less NX-centered.

Guess we can hope that the software updates not only improve the gameplay, but also the security of accounts and finally stop the massive amount of hackings.

"On the back end"? Not sure how to interpret that. Want to believe it means that they're fixing age old problems.

On the front end would mean the client. The back end is similar to the phrase "behind the scenes", where data is assessed and returned to the user.

So yeah, it could very well be problems they don't want to specify.

More than likely, it's going to mean the fixing of potential lines being weird.

Guess there's no Halloween event, besides some hastily, put together NX packages...

Royal's are back yet again. It's like they take it out and put it back in every 2 maintenances now.

I wish they would create a list of the problems that they're addressing in a specific maintenance.
