Knight's Virtue 500 hits: best skills to use for each class
#1
Yeah, I think this is pretty straightforward, but maybe someone can come up with a better idea, dunno. I haven't actually tested most of them, though.

Hero: Rush + Slash Blast/Shout
Paladin: Rush + Charged Blow/Heaven Hammer
Dark Knight: Rush + Magnet/Dragon Fury
Aran: Final Charge spam

Bowmaster: Hurricane
Marksman: Arrow Blow/Iron Arrow/Blizzard etc. Maps with sniping spots.

Bishop: Shining Ray + Teleport/Magic Claw/uncharged BB
I/L Archmage: ... + Teleport/Magic Claw/uncharged BB
F/P Archmage: Paralyze/Magic Claw/uncharged BB
Evan: Ice Breath

Night Lord: Avenger
Shadower: Band of Thieves/Steal/ME
Dual Blade: Upper Stab

Buccaneer: weaponless Dragonstriking/BSB/CSB/Energy Blast/SSK
Corsair: Rapid Fire/SSK

Mechanic: Flamethrower
Battlemage: Advanced Dark Chains
Wild Hunter: Wild Arrow Blast

Any: crouch attacking/Three Snails etc.

dark knight: go to map with largest amount of mobs in flat land possible.
unequip everything, sucky pa/spear.
alternate rush and magnet/fury

For Marksman: Find a snipe spot, get your damage as low as you possibly can, and then spam Arrow Blow/Iron Arrow/Blizzard, etc.

That's the best strategy I could find >:

Well, yeah, using weakest equips is a given :x

Magnet's crap now if you're a 12x warrior, though.

Depends on whether you just want your hits or you want good exp too.

Looking at it from a "counting hits, idc if anything ever dies, in fact it might be better if they don't" level-200 point-of-view, I'd say Rush and then Slash Blast for warriors and Tele Mastery for mages (with summon if you want, though its added hits are few and slow). Both on long flat maps.

Well, if they want good EXP, they'll just grind on said maps, I think. This is mostly for those who just want to get it over with ASAP, in order to farm the AEEs with lots of characters. Biggrin

Oh, right, I didn't think of that aspect until now. lol

Well, guess I can also put on the list 2nd and 3rd job skills (though it seems that the thief branch are already screwed adjusted in that aspect).

I made 6 level 15 mechs for this event, and it is ridiculously easy to get 500 with flame launcher.
Even easier on my WH mule with WAB.

Takes about 5 minutes to get 500 at Mixed Golemn dungeon with Magic Claw on any magician, or any mobbing skill for that matter.

OMG hurricane is fricken amazing. less than like 2 minutes.

I am also now addicted to mobility that I lack on every character I have minus my bowmaster and Shad Sad

It looks like summons' hits don't help at all. At least the Reapers that I summoned with my BaM did nothing to help increase the hit counter, so I'll just assume that Ifrit/Bahamut/Elquines don't help much either. They actually get in your way, as they'll make the mob weaker so it will die faster.

Also, for BaM at least, using teleport actually hinders the process, as it's sometimes too strong and will kill your mobs way faster. However, if you're in a map with fast spawn, I guess it's okay to use it as well.

Rush+Magnet (to decrease Rush delay) seems to work wonders, at least for my DrK.

I've yet to try the quest on my Bish, Sin, DB and F/P. Though I think they'll be slow and boring as hell, so I might not even bother with them.

You can also crouch and poke monsters for low damage, works for me.

It should be Night Lord, not Assassin, but yeah. Spam Avenger for maximum effort.

Three Snails, if you wanna be lazy and just hold down one button. Consumes very little MP and no fear of it killing the mobs quick.

My bad. Maybe it's because my very first char was an Assassin, thus it just got stuck in my mind lol

You'll still have to move around a bit, because the skill stops working after like 100 uses on the same spot.

Big Bang or Paralyze would work better for F/P. Big Bang for any 4th Job Magician class, really. Just spam it uncharged.

Shout is a 10 mob skill that would also be acceptable to use for a Crusader/Hero.

Also, Protip: Use a weak garbage weapon so you dont kill the mobs off when you have a load of them.
