Ponies.
#1
So, I decided to draw ponies. I'm not an expert at drawing, so these ones are not that good...

I did some Nichijou and [C] The money of soul and possibility control (freaking large name!) I hope you like them, and I'm open to some tips...

The nose could be a little less pointy, a bit more curved. Otherwise, not bad for a first time.

Actually it is pretty bad, but he gave it a shot.

Sure as hell is better than what I would draw, looks good!

I agree with Rick, the nose seems out of place.

Yep, I noticed. I already corrected that (I think so) in the original drawings.

I still think they look very fat. Not that I can draw better but yeah.

Okay, I did Q in my PC.
No color because I did it with separate Bezier segments and I don't know how to color it that way.

Practice some basic anatomy stuff first. Cartoons are all about bending the rules and you can't bend what you don't know.

Good effort! Thought C was a nice change from moeblob stuff.

If you know where to look, you can find some of these books online:
  • Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards
  • The Natural Way to Draw by Kimon Nicolaides
  • Drawing the Human Form by William Berry
  • Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters by Robert Beverly Hale
  • Master Class in Figure Drawing by Robert Beverly Hale
Most should be in your local library. I'd try going through these in order or touch the last two books later when you have a better understanding. I know a lot of people like the Betty Edwards book.

Hardest part is finding space/time where people won't disturb you. :3

So... I made Gardevoir. Why? Why not?

I don't know very well if the pony ear is out of place. The pointy things at the sides are something like ears or just pointy stuff?

Yeah... I really have to start using guidelines and all that stuff. Up to now, I've only drawn straight to how it should look at the end.

From what I read, the pointy parts by the side of their head are ears, so adding Pony ears is kinda redundant. So you can go 2 ways: either lose the Pony ears, or lose the spiked ears and add in the Pony ears. In all honesty though, I have no idea. You may have to go ask a Pokemon board about this, because there's no real set in stone statement that says where the ears are.
