Wow, I was trying to imagine how a 3D Zak / HT run would be o_O Epic Chaos? HT surrounded by players and all... Hehe.

Augh, imagine the lag....

ZOMG. THERE IS A LINK BETWEEN THE 3D PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS!

Although originally I suspected that the 3d vids are for a maplestory movie, like the suspected "warcraft movie" I keep hearing about.

it will be sort of fun if the controls are WoW-like

I actually really do not like this concept. I will always play 2D

I'm a 2d kinda person too, but 3d maple sounds cool.

I don't think I would mind Maple 3D, if its not point and click. I really enjoyed Lunias style of play and if its like that I'll like it.

I dont want Mape to go 3D, well not the current version anyway. Biggrin

So MS2 is looking like it is a midair Kartrider in 3D in an interactive 3D world like Maple...crazy. lol

I'm not saying anything until I see it. I hope they're able to pull it off.

Just as long as it doesn't turn into a "point and click" RPG. If it's something like the 3D videos they pump out, it'll be interesting to see the gameplay.

Summary: No la vayan a cagar, Nexon.

I wouldn't mind seeing Maple revamped with 3d models instead of sprites. The game could actually become more efficient than the way it is now. The gameplay makes much more sense in 2d, though.

I'm against 3d for a few reasons.

A) My computers pretty craptacular, and would implode trying to run any serious 3d game.
B) No doubt it won't be a global version when Nexon america gets a hold of it, meaning I would have to wait until someone in Europe picks it up, AND not be able to play with my current MS friends <,<

I have mixed reactions to the news

i'd like to see how nexon decides to run with the concept (prob end up something like flyff) though i think what makes maple so appealing, atleast to me, is the fact that it is 2d.

I'll prob give a 3d a go (if i get a chance) but i won't abandon the 2d version anytime soon especially if they make the 3d the same or more of a grindfest

Imagine trying to do JQs in 3D? You'd get a seizure before you finish... XD

This worries me a bit, 3D maplestory? This could possibly ruin the maplestory experience, either make or break. Ill try to stay optimistic until i see some screenshots or something. Hurt

I'd play MapleStory 3D for sure if it's gameplay would be a mix of Super Mario 64 and an beat em up game. That should bring the maple gameplay pretty good into a 3d world imo.

If it's going to be some point and click crap it'll ruin the name maplestory :/

Me thinks 3d is not going to go over well for MS.
Alot of our skills are REALLY platformer based.
And if it isn't Mario 64esque what would a Flash Jump do?
Point and Click is Click and failGlitter

Err... no.

MS2 is MapleStory 2.

Mid-Air Kartrider is Project Neo.

M3D is MapleStory 3D.
