How does one upgrade from Reverse to Abyss and Timeless to fearless ? n de stats ?
#1
Well generally here's what I read.

Many new items are now available to be made. Through blacksmithing, you can upgrade your Reverse items to Abyss items, and your Timeless items to Fearless! All the Abyss and Fearless equipment, except the overalls, comes with 1 attack, including the hats, gloves, and shoes. A new, more powerful set of Van Leon equipment has been released~! Upgrade your current items! Marx becomes Victor, Fox becomes Celine, Alma becomes Hex, Nox becomes Ska, and Cora becomes Mer.

Now here's the maths part.

Was wondering for reverse/timeless items when we upgrade to abyss/fearless, do we get to retain the original wa and enjoy the bonus through upgrading it?

If so what are the stats increment, say pertaining to a weapon

supposed a wa 190 reverse engaw is upgraded to an abyss engaw, what would happen? Would the reverse engaw loses its wa 190, and becomes say a wa 110 clean abyss engaw or some random thing?

or would there be an upgrade in wa? If so , what is the corresponding increment?

I believe it becomes a regular WA, clean piece of equipment. The "upgrade" should, if I'm not mistaken, be nothing more than crafting a weapon that requires another weapon (as one of its materials) to forge.

This is the only sensical assumption.

Off-topic: I wonder why they used the more awesome name (Abyss) for the "weaker" equipment. :/

Because Nexon made it into an art not having names that makes sense.

피어리스 can be both Fearless and Peerless, Peerless meaning without equal, but Fearless just sounds better. There's no official translation yet, remember?

How did I never hear about this?
This seems like it would be pretty big.

EDIT: a quick google search got me something from Max's blog.
Apparently, they are legit, and need Shards of Chaos, Ancient Essences, and Philosopher's Stones to upgrade them. Hm.
Using common sense, I doubt that your scrolling and potential will carry over.

Yeah, you can trade them with PSoK.

Upgrading them will reset stats to the upgraded form's clean, because as it was said earlier, it is just crafting an item using another item as a requirement. Think Alchemy potion and pills.

They have like, 5ish attack higher than the previous form, and have the same amount of levels. They look exactly the same, they just have a different name.

You will need a recipe to create it, along with some other, new items, particularly Philosopher's Stones, which come from extracting level 110+ (or 115?) items, randomly, Shards of Chaos, which drop from 140+ monsters, and Ancient Essence, which come from Heart Stones and Gold Flowers.

Learn to search the extractions.

The word "Abyss" is mentioned exactly two times in the entire thread, both in the same post.
On the last page.
That thread is the 24th shown thread if you search Abyss, and it's not even on the first page if you search Fearless.

The PhS are from 110+ equips.
These seem like they'll be annoying as heck to make.

Wow that sounds interesting. Can't wait for Legend even more now. Seems really easy to get legend coins and those prizes you can get are insane.
