Level 184 Demon Slayer solos Zak in 2 minutes
#21
If a 200 bm can solo zak in 1:17, it won't be long until 60 seconds or less zakum solos are available
with a 200 mercedes or demon slayer.

Wish they could display a range as well so it can show the estimated amount of funding required for
the speed runs.

Looks like demon slayers are severely hindered by the damage cap o.o
But seriously, nexon may have went a bit too far this time. Demon slayers have literally NO drawbacks. High hp, high defense, high status resist, high mobility, high 1v1 DPS, high mob DPS, drain, low pot usage, and quick training.
All other "overpowered" jobs so far have had atleast one drawback.
Mechs-low mobility
Dual Blades- Extremely low hp(I'm pretty sure even Mercedes, which is ranged has higher hp than DBs)

They can't really gather mobs for s'hit because their orbs steal KB so they can't rush easily.

They might be subject to extreme rape if hit with 1/1.

Demon Force doesn't drain to 1. lol

Orbs don't really KB lol

That's stupid.

I've seen it in videos. It's totally an issue, but not enough to make the class worthless.

I agree with just about everything you just said, except for that bit about Mechs having low mobility. They have a better version of Combat Step, Rush in first job, a portal that makes moving around a map far easier once it's set up, and Rocket Jump.

/nitpicking

I do have to say that Demon Slayers really piss me off with some of their attacks. Nexon keeps balancing the classes and then throwing it all out the window in less than a month! Demon Impact especially annoys me! As if 400% damage 5 times isn't bad enough, they gave it a 100% crit rate, the ability to reduce a mob's defense by 50%, and 30% higher damage to bosses. So once their passive +10% boss damage is factored in, that's effectively 4200% damage per Demon Impact to any boss monster plus the debuff to that bosses defense (assuming it works), and on a mob of three they can deal up to 9000% damage plus the defense debuff. It also seriously annoys me that Demon Impact hits enemies five times when the Demon Slayer only stabs them once. At least with Mech/Cannoneer laser attacks it can be argued that the laser's heat causes additional damage and that Paladin Blast attacks hit multiple times because of the drilling motion, but this doesn't work at all!

.... Man, I've been complaining a lot today haven't I? :f6:

I am guilty of this as well, thus not shaving a few seconds off my 5 minute solo record. Frown

Perhaps impact hits 6 times because of how long the sword is??? Nonetheless I can smell a nerf before it is released to the damage hungry GMS folks.

I really hope so. Demon Slayers look like they'd be pretty fun to play, but their massive amount of power is just turning me off to them at this point. They have tons of mobility for a warrior class, which I really think should be enough reason to NOT give them the same perks that other warriors get such as massive damage and defense.

what are you smoking? mechs have great mobility almost all of the time and conditionally great mobility while training in 4th job. (just hafta make sure you portal the map right so you can be lazy.)

mech mobility skills are nothing compared to demon slayers though...

I don't count portal as mobility. With the nerf to drill rush, 4th job mechs in tank mode do have low mobility, even including combat step. A 4th job mech wouldn't be out of tank mode, with the drill rush nerf making non tank training impractical.

Mobility is the ability to move physically, so a mech using a portal to teleport from one point on the map to another is not a part of his mobility? Imo, it should very much be counted because as I bowmaster, I wish I had something like portal to help me get around a little faster. So yes, their mobility is not as op'd as it once was, but they can still get around faster than a good amount of the classes in this game.

Uhm, about Mech training:
-> LHC training = 4th job Tank mode since Cannon + Siege = insanely powerful
-> Everywhere else = Prototype mode + Drill Rush + Acceleration Bot + Punch Launcher + Buffed Satellites => All the way.

A 140-speed Proto Mech + Dash + Rush = Way faster training (Don't forget Punch also stuns) then a fixed-120-speed Tank Mech + Laser, unless the map is really really small (all high-lvl maps are large).

Also, Rocket Booster is about twice as fast in Prototype mode then in Tank mode.

Don't forget, Punch Launcher (611% DPS x 6 @ 500% range) is still quite strong and Tank Laser (902% DPS x 6 @ 695% range) got nerfed hardest of all Mech skills (dpps with critical ring of course).

Also, Mech rush = Warrior rush, so it's not really impractical to use now, besides that, it hits 15 monsters at once now (like warrior rush) instead of 6, very useful at skelegons bottom. Wink

But ok, at LHC, Laser (or Siege / Cannon) wins hands down. Wink

Meh I'm not impressed by slayers..Any class doing the same amounts of damage would be faster and everyone knows it lol.
