Monster Book Explorer (Preview)
#1
Update: It's unfortunate, but I no longer have any plans to return to this project. Thank you to those who have helped make this happen.

-----
Update: Due to school starting in about a week, this project has unfortunately been dropped.
I was never really satisfied about the UI, so I guess thats another reason for it.
It may be readded to my list of things to do in the near future.
Thank you for reading.

The download will remain up and the application functional.

-----

There really isn't much to do over the summer, so I decided to make another small Maple application.

This one uses information obtained from: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=47248, a collaboration between White and Fiel

I've mostly been working on the UI so far, so the code to populate the monsters and set bonuses aren't working yet, nevertheless, you should still get an impression. The "Set Bonus" window automatically adjusts it's size depending on whether the selected set has one or two bonuses.

Update: Monster list now populates correctly and set bonuses will also function.

Somehow the screenshot never looks right...

Looks good so far! Could I suggest you put where to find area bosses and such?
I look forward to this!

Pretty cool! You should see if you can nearly emulate the in-game book's looks, hehe. That'd be pretty cool. (Obviously minus the drop lists)

If you can type in an item and see all mobs that drop it, I would use it for sure!

I'd more interested in the code honestly.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

this would require a complete monster book or some collaboration but hows about being able to search for an item and seeing everything that drops it, that would make this a VERY usefull tool. instead of having to search through my monster book to see what drops a reverse taragon recipe or w.e

I will try to see what I can do with implenting a drop list search function.

In the meantime, the download link has been updated to the Alpha release version.

Enjoy!
