Then the next big thing was Ossy.

2008 is not a good year for maplestory, we have alot of new towns, pqs and new items, but what everyone remind is about hackers, guild hack, pg hack and more, and alot of bugs/glitchs with new patchs, dupped white scrolls, server crash, rollback, when i look back in the past and look at the game now i cant believe in what that game become, we have so many improves but nexon cant handle hackers and problably never will, is a shame =[

Why not just look at the FTP site and look at all the Maple Notices on the patches?

I thought that Wizet became Nexon around when the biggest hacking epidemic (I always called it the plague) began, so sometime around October '06 (I remember seeing some of the hacks an not recognizing them back then).

I started playing Nov 8, 2006 (the day Donald Rumsfeld resigned). It was Nexon when I started.

I thought hackers were basically part of the game. I didn't like them, but usually just ignored them.

Now I'm surprised when I see one.

In spring '08, I believe it was, there was the Power Guard hack. That was pretty major and lagged all of the servers. Right before that or sometime was when a lot of people were using Auto CC from some leaked trainer (which quite a few people smegaed to GMs and accidentally got many more people hacking).

Power Gurad hacked didnt lag servers. If it did, it was to those that already encountered lag and it just made it worse

Does anyone know the year dates of what Nexon received an "F" by the Better Business Bureau? One year they had a "F" and the next year, a "B". That's strange but that's also history that I think is worth mentioning.

Also, the exact months of when each the servers was released.

I swear I recall reading that Nexon had an F this year, but the next times I checked it slowly increased. >_>

yeah, you really need to add i belive august or july 07- Mushroom Shrine is released, making dark scrolls more common, marktet shits itself.

Werewolf toenail glitch was probably older than Bera because I never heard of it until alwzn4vr told me about it in-game.
