Course it could. So could anything. However, as Pissed off as the pvp content makes me it does fit incrediably well with chaos ifuthinkaboutsit

Masteria could fit in a chaos but its obvious they just troll us saying there's still a chance on getting something new, but most of us know the truth.
Masteria has died when Prose left nexon.
@ exclusive content
im more happy with crusader thingy and monster book than with CTF itself simply cause i dont feel like dealing with all the hackers inside pvp (knowing nexon they wont do shyt about hax0rs in pvp Tongue )
Well -Hime- is 50/50 what she says is true and also wrong. She got Neo Tokyo and Neo City mixed Upp, so have players. She said Evan mastery books would be outside the cs, that could have been the original plan but was changed. She was right about the visitors and she backeuo her proof here with a reason. I see no reason why you wouldn't believe her. Yes the ORIGINAL Masteria DID die whn Prose left. Prose created Masteria so even if a brilliant mind like Steven King or even J.R.R Tolkien took over production it would still not be prose's Masteria. Still doesn't mean its dead. Prose even said to us himself if Masteria was really dead NEXON will tell us. (Excuse any spelling mistakes this was typed on my phone)

...I thought about it, and CTF and Monster Book don't really fit in with Chaos, sorry.

That seems like a lot of naïveté if you believe something that a worker that left said about their pet project several years ago.

- It's her job to know the difference. That's one wrong.
- You're making guesses about the Evan books. Fact is, they're still NX only. That's 0:2.
- What exactly was she right about the Visitors? About it being 'exclusive'? Because I've never seen any proof there.

Now, even with the third one is debate-ably up-in-the-air, that's 2:3, at best, not 50/50.
That is, of course, if you ignore all the times she said "there will be no roll back" and then there was one.

There is no reason for them to flat-out tell us Masteria is dead. That actually would do far more harm than letting us think it could happen some day.

After all, how would they string along people like you?

Probably bot even a year ago on sp he said it. Chaos had pvp, cft is pvp. Monster book doesn't fit but that's besides the point

They can tying me along a lot better than Masteria. Just wave the 'china andother st areas are coming flag' infront of me.
You realize changes and decisions of roll backs can change right? Th dev team can tell her wont be a roll back then two mintues before say there WILL be one right? Just everything she said about the visitors we're correct:f6:

Edit:actually it isn't her job to know 0.o. Its the dev teams job to know. If the dev team said 'its neo tokyo' then that's a problem

Monster Book is my entire point. That's the part of this exclusive that people are actually excited about (and the part that takes the most work and space).
It's more than half of the EC, and doesn't even fit.

Ah I see what you mean now. CFT as a pvp mode does fit. But yeah you're right. You can at least say NEXON was listening to the players since that's what everyone wanted. Who knows what else might come.

I would like to begin this post by bemoaning people responding to forums on their phones.
It really isn't a terrible thing to just not post until later. No rush.

That in mind, I have no fucking idea what that first sentence is saying. Something about a wave from China wielding a flag.

Here's the thing:
I know things can change. I'm quite aware.
However, there is a big difference between making cautious predictions and making statements of absolute fact that latter turn out to be untrue. There's a difference between saying "there will be no roll back" and saying "at this time, there will be no roll back".

And, no, not everything she said about the Visitors was correct. Namely, she called it "exclusive content", which it absolutely was not.

Fact is, you don't know what is going on behind the scenes. All you have is speculation bent to make your point.
At the end of the day, knowing what is going on with the game and communicating that to us is her job.
Regardless of where the incompetence comes from, it doesn't prevent her from being an unreliable source. It's that simple.

I mean, by your same logic, the Dev Team could have lied to her about Masteria not being dead.
See how unhelpful assumptions can be?

The thing is, -hime- is an -ok- rep at this point. I don't care if she's right or wrong, she just trolls us most of the time. The problem with that is that she is the face of Nexon for Maplestory. She is the contact between the players and the company. She should be professional and have most of her information correct. If she doesn't know 100% she should say something along the lines of "We can't tell you this info at this time" or "I am unqualified to answer that question as i do not work with X department". She's giving her company a bad rep when she tells us false information (see rollbacks, Evan mastery books, hot time, etc.)

And at Masteria "not being Chaos material" wtp? ANYTHING can be Chaos material- Masteria's badlands were hit by a giant asteroid uncovering the Ruins of an ancient civilization!. Radioactivity from the space rock has revived the Dead King of the Jungle and he's set on taking over the lands he once owned! Prepare to do battle with the once most powerful ruler in all of Masteria!

-See I just made Masteria Chaotic.

Sorry about that. What I mean is I would take fully completed World Tour areas over Masteria. If NEXON waved the "China is coming" flag in front of my face I would be on my knees following them like a rabid dog.

Well true you're right about that..

Well actually that is debatable. At the time it came out it WAS exclusive. The version Thailand got was different then ours. The medals and weapons were different, it didn't last as long, and the story was a little bit different.

True

Yes however the dev team told us the players directly that it wasn't. That's really the only assumption you can say where she got it from. But with that in mind should also think that yes the dev team could have been lying to us, or they could have been telling us the truth. With this company/game just waiting and seeing is always the best choice>.>

I'm curious as to the whole -hime- situation. Seeing as how we can't know exactly what she's being told, any and all situations are likely possible.

She could just be a horrible rep. On the other hand, she might be getting fed information... but then the people in charge end up doing something else and thus it makes -hime- look horrible... yet she's doing her job perfectly well. And every possible situation in between might be the truth.

We can never tell exactly how much of it is -hime- feeding us bad info... or workers feeding -hime- bad info.

And it's not like -hime- would be allowed to say "The dev's screwed this up, not me... sorry players." or any sort of apology like that. That might get her fired.

But then again... it might be her own fault...

So before we get too harsh on -hime-, let's consider the fact that we don't know what drives her posts. We don't know if she's at fault or not. And she can't/wont tell us. Because if it's her fault, maybe she's not admitting it.... this let's you rage at her... but if it isn't her fault... she can't tell us or she might get fired for "badmouthing"/blaming the other departments.

Our monster book is slightly different from JMS', but that doesn't make it exclusive.
Even if you consider the slight differences from TMS' Visitor Event enough to make it "exclusive", JMS getting it a month or two later would remove that label.
I perfectly understand the concept of 'timed exclusives', but we have to wait longer for content from KMS than JMS had to wait to get the Visitor event.

I'm actually aware of all of those possibilities.
Regardless of the situation, Hime is their public face. That's her job.
As their public face, she's going to catch all the pomegranate...
...as well as any praise.

She's, essentially, a figurehead.
Saying "Hime" can be seen as being synonymous with saying "Nexon".
That user account can hardly be seen as an individual as, for the most part, she can't say anything unless they allow her to say it.

There's a reason for this.
Let's say she normally talked more candidly.
She could, theoretically, say something like "/inb4everybodyassumesweclaimedjMScontentasGMS".
This would be bad since, she being their mouthpiece, it would make the company as a whole look like a bunch of plantains who peach about their users instead of improving how the promote their updates.

In agreement with almost all of this.

She IS the figure head... She WILL take all the crap... doesn't mean we should be pissed off SPECIFICALLY at her for things that may not be her fault. We can be pissed off at nexon and whine VIA her. But whining specifically at how she's doing her job is a bit unjustified... At least that's what I think.

It's a bit off topic though, but I'll gladly continue this line of chat with anyone via PMs/visitor messages. Laters~

Oh yeah. The China WT is actually very beautiful. It's pretty big too if not the biggest wt. Damn impressive. While it doesn't offer much of anything, it does give a few lower leveled training spots and couple bosses for the higher leveled crowd.

Wasn't talking about Monster book in all honesty. That's pretty damn far from exclusive. What I mean is we were the first to get the Visitors the way we got it. So until JMS got their hands on it Visitors was exclusive to us.

How is it different? o.o Everything I've seen so far is the same (except, of course, the sets from JMS that GMS won't get because they don't have those areas).
