Why are specific mastery books listed under drop lists...? Nexon didn't bother editing those to just be secret mastery books?

Ok then i must know what is better.

6% weapon attack from the zakum area or 10 str 10 attack from kaede castle?

Edit: It seems 6% attack is better for me while i am transformed, but only then. 6% attack is about +15 att, vs +10 str +10 att.

Sarah comes from the school of "time sink or go home".

If you have under 200 total wep att, 2nd one is better
If you have over 200 wep att, first is better

While the last two clues were fairly recent, CvP should have been clue enough that Nexon America doesn't have the development team to create big, exclusive content.

If Nexon America was incapable of releasing big, exclusive content, then I wouldn't raise my hopes. Masteria is a direct contradiction to what you just said. Also, the programming behind something like CTF might have more investment time than just making a new place to explore.

I think if you're super funded you would benefit more from the 6% weapon att. I'll probably say for those who are not as funded maybe the 10str and 10att would be good. Still unsure myself. :/

I have <200 untransformed/energizer'd and >250 with both, so yeah. El nath is going to be a LOT easier to complete compared to kaede castle anyway. I'll be forced to hunt tonosama. Sad

Inb4 Nexon messes up and gives us JMS's drop tables(4/4/4/4 zhelm, anyone?!) and mobs(Himes that inflict debuffs for instance). Though, it'd be nice to get ele staves and DKhanjars and such from regular mobs, not gach/bosses.

imo the 3% all stat and 15% PDR is better than 6% att
Edit: what the heck is the cross Goma bridge?
JMS exclusive?
Looks like no 15% pdr then -.-

Which may actually be easier depending on what happened in JMS (unless you're talking in the bossing damage and HP sense).

ShiKage, exactly which bosses are instanced in JMS now? Going off of what I remember you saying, I'm thinking that bosses with a special map were, but what about bosses like Pianus and Tonosama? Or did I read all of that wrong and it's actually only for the new bosses?

I have 15% on my weapon and 20% when using demolition so i don't think 15% more would mean as much damage for me.

@ above: No i can kill tonosama no problem it's just a b'itch to track down and kill. I'm lazy. :/

Can I get a date check for when Masteria came out?
Because, last I checked, it's now 2011.

Staff changes happen all the time, and it has long been confirmed that many of the major players behind Masteria's conception and creation are no longer employed at Nexon.

I'll go out on a limb and shout "nonsense" on that bit about CTF seeing as the only structure they'd have to add is the actual capturing of the flag.

Wouldn't Mu Lung's 2% godmode and 15% PDR outclass both of those? Although you do need a pomegranateton of cards to get it...

@Blades4Hire: Kill a bunch of area bosses eh? Sounds a bit too easy...
EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, wouldn't their Monster Cards be hard as pineapple to get?
Yeah...Mu Lung it is for me...

Glad I never got my hopes up. Now I'm not disappointed at all. Hopefully CTF will be fun Biggrin

If you collected 3 same cards in the old book, a little description of the monster would be unlocked. Anything like that for the new one?

Exactly how much was the drop rate for monster cards raised?
As in, out of 1000 monsters, how many cards would you expect to get?

Ores are listed in the drop lists as well.

There have been no signs of this company conceiving masterpieces as of late, so I'm not really going to pay attention. If something nice comes, great, I'm surprised; but if not, so what? My personal goals are based upon things that could have been accomplished since ToT was released, and once I've completed those, I'm done. Level 200 and max damage are vastly overrated.

tl;dr Don't get your hopes up. Low expectations make life a whole lot easier to deal with.

Well, glad I held onto my stance from earlier in that prediction thread.

ShinkuDragon Wrote:but Fk, that, the first time ravana came, i spent NX to get all 5 of his damned cards, I WANT THOSE CARDS BACK!

I still have the Ravana helm I got when my partner died. I was only in there for the card. Granted it was technically my second thanks to a rollback at the time. But seriously, I insist upon some compensation for the effort, time, and in some cases such as yours, money that was spent on the prior monster book. I actually have a ticket with NEXON regarding this that has yet to have been looked at by a human.

Except from the way I heard it, the whole thing could be completed in two days, or a long afternoon. It may seem fine to the crowd who just does the event quests on their 17X main, and then jumps ship for a month; but for a feature that involves exploring the Maple world, it should take a little longer. Think of it as if you were raising your first character and exploring the world. As you level up in each area, you'd find out more about the creatures you fight, and by the time you are fighting the strongest, you would have complete knowledge of those who flee from you now. It may be more convenient to those who have already reached a high level, but it detracts from maintaining interest in the feature, and will be forgotten as soon as finished if it is too easy.

Now, I'm no fan of extremes either, but I think about half an hour at each monster seems a fair time to hunt. What I remember hearing of was around 5 minutes. At the least, I'd like people to spend a day at each area of the Maple world exploring the content of the game before returning to default farm/grind mode.

Side Note: Still bitter about spending 8 months hunting ZMM for the card with no luck. >.> Selling stacks of 200 Poisonous Mushrooms in the MTS 5k NX each!! Get some NX Today! EDIT: lol, someone bought a stack.
