Stop PVP Hackers
#1
I found an easy way to stop PVP hackers. Basically if one is using no-delay, stun them and they will crash.

Here's a step-by-step tutorial Smile

1. Go to PVP
2. Find a hacker
3. Use a stunning attack such as arrow bomb
4. Hackers get crashed

Second method

1. Get a warrior with Power Guard
2. No delay hackers kill themselves Big Grin

Also, as Ice Knight, get a full charge meter and spam that 2nd attack all the time, it will kill them and they crash, make sure you attack the kiddies first! Big Grin

Why would stun kill them?

Because it blocks them from attacking and I'm guessing that nodelay somehow cannot be stopped that fast by command coming outside the client and therefore ms goes wtp and the char disconnects.

Screws up the NoDelay.
Unfortunately, they say "KILL ME PLZ" when you do that, then re-spawn and can do it again.

3rd method: identify them early and leave the room, stop wasting your time when you're going to lose.

Lol. Would you let someone keep raping you or fight back?

if everyone leaves before a hacker can get significant gains, every game, theyll stop bothering.
getting people to cooperate is the only issue.

social ostracism is just as powerful a fighting tool.

yeah, but the problem is that most people won't do it.
just look at this thread.

if your team is being slaughtered by a hacker, sit up top and wait for your teammates to respawn. tell them there is a hacker and you dont feel like feeding him. ask them to leave the room.

most people are reasonable if you shove it in their face.

If is a mage is easy to beat... just ask to a priest or a warrior to nulifly/cancel him and the rest go to his ass... then play as normal.

Well, hackers are so ingrained in the game that most players just feel apathetic towards them. That in itself says a lot about the game and about Nexon's failure to do everything they can to stop them. I bet the majority of their monthly ban list consists of FM money selling site botters.

Warriors are really easy to beat too, just stay out of their range and spam skills.
I had a DrK that was using no delay Crusher enter my FFA game about half way through yesterday and I would Seal/Slow him and then spam Paralyze out of his range. He never killed me once and I got several rage-filled comments from his end.

... Really? I've never had trouble with Mages myself, aside from Bishops and their cursed Dispel mostly.

But honestly, if only everyone would just up and leave the damned room, maybe the dumbfucks will realize it's no good to hack in PvP by the 10th time around. If only.

because he's a hacker, he has no idea how to play and only uses the nodelay, picture if he used magnet for example, that 1 sec stun + nodelay would have you dead. if you know how to play however:

Note that most hackers can only no delay in one direction(unless using AoE attacks)
This is helpful when taking them out, just get behind them

Basically, they spam this thing that will cause them to attack and when you stun them, they can't attack. This will most likely overload them and BAM they crash, or they can't move Tongue

Last night on Chaos during Ice Knight I actually ran into hackers doing good. If they didn't become the ice knight they'd sit there but if they became the Ice Knight they would use their hacks to kill the other hackers while they sat in the corner and let the legits beat on them lol.
