Hi just wanted to ask, what strategies were employed to stop that tornado and what are the things to look out for, for the ranged party not to take any damages like TMS. I remembered we were all dying machines, but TMS made it seem simple.

Wonder if there are any strategies involved?

The Aran can type while killing the empress, but everyone else dies almost instantly if they don't pay attention.

According to TMS players description,Magic Crash can force empress to be unable to summon any instructors.And also,TMS has lots of insane gear that other maple versions won't have.

GMS has the DPS to kill her
It's just that ours is glitched to not summon instructors all the time when it needs to.
Also, the glitch they used in the video isn't abusable in GMS because whenever the empress gets to below 20% hp, she instantly heals to 50% UNLESS you killed all her instructors first. Apparently TMS doesn't have this safeguard, and they also abused the rush to the left glitch.

Let's face it it's glitched, and it'll probably be forever till it is fixed. So far JMS has been the only version I've seen that actually summons properly and even then killing her warps you.

Reading their chat.. the runners themselves were surprised that she just died like that.

Hi how come cygnus no longer does dmg to people anymore except the 1 or 2 guys. The rest did not register any damage even when banging body against her.

Because our cygnus is broken. It's not supposed to attack or deal damage. All those attacks and summons she has is a glitch. Normally shes just supposed to die and give you equips and experience. That cygnus is working as intended.

It's TMS. They're just a bit more screwed up than EMS from what I hear.
