At least hackers can't mass dupe the scrolls and trade them off in the FM. That was my only fear with the "Attack Armor" scroll.

The good news for them being untrable when the exploit comes out and it will is that it won't deflate everything and cause rollback, massive bans of legits and such. Bad news is it will take Nexon even longer to figure out out since you won't see them for 5m ea.

But it'd be a lot easier to ban the people responsible because they can't ditch the evidence on hapless nubs

I made billions off the first gacha box event. The rate at which WS and chaos came out of those boxes combined with the current market rate for each item, as well as the NX ratio, was absolutely insane profit. After the second round was found to be much worse, I never tried it again. Nor will I try these Microwaves.

That's what I meant. It costs 650m-ish in NX to get, and they are untradeable. AEE's only cost 200m in FM to buy.

Nexon can't scam with NX, since NX and everything in Maplestory has no value, a potion has the same value as a white scroll.

It is without-a-doubt gambling though. It's wagering money hoping to get something nice out of it.
Personally, I refuse to invest any of my real-world currency on NX items on an indefinite outcome.
Cubes are a gamble.
Gachapon is a gamble.
Protection Scrolls are a gamble.
Surprise Boxes are a gamble.

Actually, White scrolls go for 2-3$ each on "certain websites", while red potions are worthless
