FYI - White Scrolls

This is where you err, it's pretty much guaranteed that a hacker will dupe them somewhere down the road after this event ends.

Luckily it won't change anything. There's been hackers with hundreds of thousands of items worth near infinite amounts of money for as long as I can remember. What's new about that? Infinite white scrolls + infinite 10%s vs Infinite gm scrolls. I guess I just don't see the difference.

Shidoshi, it was less of a discussion and more 9 pages of people whining that the average player will be stronger and that cash users will be ahead of cashless, both of which have been occuring.... forever.

This just reminds me of the pink scroll exploit last year +NX. Really nothing new but a different percent value.

Edit: There's a problem when I can always relate one bad scenario with a past bad scenario in the same game.

In 1hr and 20mins I managed to get around 50 maple equips, 2 chairs, and a 1h axe 100% at the lvl 66 goblins.

Well I got a chair so I'm happy. Could give less of a care about the scrolls - I'm tired of people bitching because they didn't get one every 30 seconds when they went in.

Also in other news most of them were 100m or less in Bera last night so it's not like this is instant "I HAS ALL TEH MONIES" anymore either. [although bw users can get theirs super cheap like usual, alliancemate said the bw ones were like 45m, lol.]

That's what Wards are for.
Anyone can have a perfect-scrolled weapon, but only the rich can enhance it 8 times.
So they can still spend money to feel superior, above and beyond the advantage one gets from being able to cube one's gear to death.

I have yet to hear of one failing.
The 1h-sword GM scrolls have a long history, ever since they were a reward in the CWK exchange (that got patched years ago, but a few remained), and are known to be truly 100%.
As for the others - my ally scrolled his axe yesterday, 9 scrolls landed easily. I doubt that's just luck.

I can also confirm that they are 100% since i scrolled my sword with 100%'s.

1.5hrs got me 100% claw, 100% 2h sword and a Reverse Equinox.

Except that people who aren't in control of hacked/exploited/NX gained items don't have mesos in the first place.

Maple's economy has essentially become the same as the United States. The rich and corrupt continue to be rich and corrupt while the hard working are stuck at the bottom with no hope.

Assuming nexon doesnt change the rates, these will drop to the 10m range and anyone who just loot the mesos while they train will be able to buy them. Hardly limited to the rich and powerful.

not if they all get hoarded by those already with mesos but It couild happen. While this makes the price of current scrolled weapons crumble, the price of items with good potential is now getting higher due to the rise in the meso:Nx ratio

I'm not saying the poor will even out with the rich, not even a little bit. But the overall damage/range will increase, which is good for everyone.

I just setup shop with prices as low as 150M for Bow ATT and 120M/130M for 1H Axe and Sword ATT, respectively. Majorly undercutting but the fact that they're going for 200M in shops regularly is a big deal. Pretty awesome.

I have a Claw ATT for 250M but that seems pretty standard. Don't wanna lose money on everything. :o

I don't see how everyone being stronger is necessarily a good thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one who liked the game more when people couldn't solo Zakum and Horntail and there was some actual challenge behind boss fights.
