Didn't use 2x drops, only 45 minutes with Family drops! (Got the Reverse items and 1x one handed axe during the family drop time.)

I know what you mean. I got an AB recipe in 15 minutes and haven't found any after that. I've probably been looking at 6hrs+ now, unless the people KSing me out found one. .____.

It seems like Nexon realised that the game is unfixable at this point, after having left so many white scroll/pink scroll/chaos scroll glitches and hacks untreated for so long so they're just trying to suck as much money out of it before it implodes. There's nothing they can do to fix the game without destroying the entire top layer of it which would just piss off a lot of people (people who deserve to be pissed off, mind you).

The game's days may not be limited but I would say that at this point, any hope of it becoming a fair or decent game should be thrown out the window. Nexon no longer cares about MapleStory (if they ever did) and will continue to treat it as the cash cow that it is. Guess we can hope that Maple 2 is real and that if it comes out they will treat it with respect while allowing the lawless pomegranatehole that is the current MapleStory to continue to sustain their lust for cash.

Pretty sad that MapleStory has essentially become the SLUMS OF GAMING, though.

They just realised they couldn't do anything to resolve this situation so they decided to suck as much money from it as they could, until so many people will quit that they'll have to close (doubt that'll happen anytime soon though).

They seemed to care a little more one year ago or so, but now.. it's as bad as it's ever been since I started playing 4 years ago.

Or maybe they are trying to make a lot of money to pay for the exclusive content they are developing/developed, like KMS did with cubes a couple months before big bang. In either case, both were terrible ideas.

And to those saying "This game was screwed up since potential", At least KMS tried to fix that through the professions system, where half of the items you craft come out with hidden potential, fusing items give you one with potential 70% of the time and 1 out of 20 crafted items with potential turns out epic.

You realize this is only THE FIRST DAY of the event and the entire thing LASTS FOR 3 WEEKS? You'd have to be pretty blind to not notice how utterly game-breaking this event is in itself.

While true, I'm totally expecting this event to make the exception for a ton of people. Getting a GM scroll and/or a multitude of other items can easily make the breaking point of 990nx and then some.

At worst, you're paying 50mil for 1k NX, assuming WS don't completely bomb within a few hours to less than of said price, even one of those will make you break even, and that's not counting everything else worthwhile that also drops in the GT.
