is pvp a good way to level up ?
#1
Except high levels ( I'm hoping it will be decent , not sure if it will be "good" , buy anyways) , is pvp faster than grinding for your toon at levels mostly from 1-120? 1-80 for the event??

For people that play kms and have played already pvp Tongue

No.

PvP matches take 10 minutes each and give EXP depending on how good you do. If you do bad, you get cruddy exp. While in training, there is no luck factor involved (unless you count KSing, then ok. You could just move maps or something, who gives a damn.) so it's generally faster.

I train without HS in those types of situations. I don't find it a necessity to level with it. Any percentage is better then 0 percentage gained from not training.

Point was training is largely based on luck, regardless of level. For 110+ it's that situation, for anything lower it's people in general.

@ above: HSer leaving means -50% from him and -50% from the HS. Not everyone shares the same opinion. For most of us, it's 5-6 people or bust.

?!?
1. HSers are based on luck? Don't you have bishop friends?
2. HS is only 10% EXP from base though o.o

Besides man.
At 120ish you only get like f`uck. 2.1m or less exp per 10 minute win, which is good and all for low levels but by the time you take LHC seriously, you should get more than that I would think.

1) People leaving in general f'ucks the party. HS leaving is worst case scenario, because other people leave when the HS leaves. In future ereve in khaini no one even trains there unless HS is present or we're desperate.
2) Whatever HS is. It changes all the time so i just say 50%. Idfk.

In here we have too many people flooded with LHC, bishops or not. We even have to put macros that say we're full because LHC is that f`ucking full.

It used to be like that here. (people have that macro regardless of how full it is) After chaos though...2 parties max at bearwolves according to my friends who train there. Everyone apparently evacuated to god knows where else.

That is, assuming that PvP is based on luck and luck only.

LHC in Zenith is dead. I struggle to find a party. If I do, it wont last long.

This will probably end up like the question: "Is CPQ good exp?"

The answer to that one is, "Yes, if you get a good team and are pretty much continuously grinding on rombots. But if you spend half your time looking for opponents who don't quit halfway through and don't fail to summon right, you would be better off training normally elsewhere."

PvP is probably good exp *if* you can continuously fight and win. Otherwise...

My guess would be places that drop the Angelic Ring. Rolleyes

im pretty sure hs is more than 10%, since, when i solo a bearwolf in a party of 6 with no hs, I get 38k base exp(not counting party bonus). With HS involved, I get 52k base exp from soloing a bearwolf

10% of base EXP.

HS never changed from 50% AFAIK. Not with big bang and not with chaos.
Can be that i missed it during all of the changes and reverting of changes, though.

Now come on. This has been explained a billion times.

HS = 50% bonus for your experience but is capped at 110% of the monster's base exp. (if your share of the Exp + 50% is greater than 110% of the monster's base exp, you hit the cap.)

HS makes a significant difference when you are not killing monsters solo.

I'm assuming that Future Ereve or LHC would beat PvP in %exp/hr.
