There's only one server right now; it's called Iris.

http://latalers.com/guides/bow-explorers-101

Look here for a bow guide, it only goes up to the 2nd job advance, though, no further.

The abundance of quests early in the game seem to dry up by 2x...getting one skill every 20 levels isn't too much fun either. Honestly, I prefer jumping around on one map to grind than running around back and forth for hours for slightly increased exp. I haven't played much since my Knight hit 23.

Grinding kicks in at lvl 28.....
until then, theyre are plenty of quests to do.

Not really, the grind still isn't noticeable for me at level 37, I still have a few quests to work on before I'll be done, enough to bring me to 40 at least.

Level 45 1h Sword Knight here...

Hybrid is the way to go in the beginning, and then reset at 40 or 60.

IGN is banditcom, of course. Already have gotten two whispers and a mail asking if I am the banditcom from MapleStory. lol... xD

Blah. I quit at 42 due to lack of content. I'll probably come back sometime down the road when there's more to do.

Quote:The next chapter of La Tale is coming this week. This new update will offer fun things to do and new places to explore for players up to level 70. Check out the new items, challenges, and clues to the story of Iris in these new places:

- The City of Elfa

- Refrize Spa

- Snowfield

- Dark Forest

- Deserts

- Pyramid

- The Moon of the 16th Day

- Pyramid Treasure Vault

- Foe Mansion

- Forest Mine

- Crystal Mine

Well, new maps and content for all. OGPlanet seems to be doing pretty well.

Just wondering, by looking at the graphics, is it like Maple Story gameplay?

If you mean a 2D sidescrolling game, then yes.

I tried it, the sluggishness of the controls annoyed me wayyy too much. Especially not being able to grab ladders while running, and all the skills having cooldowns. Very aggravating.

The graphics are cool, and the quests as well lol.

You actually can grab a ladder while running, it just take A LOT of practice, i can't even do it.

I like Skill Cool Down Time, I get use more than 1 skill. I use 4.

This kinda looks like a cross between Grand Chase and Maple Story.

I wouldn't play it. Just by the looks of it.

But the first time I saw a video about this was when I was searching for Gunslinger videos on YouTube. Apparently they have a class named Gunslinger too. O.o

Its a fun game, enough of a change of pace from MapleStory to be entertaining to me, I got to 48 then went back to Maple, Maple is just more my style.

Though MapleStory could certainly learn a few things from LaTale,

(Practical item crafting, instances, quests that give good exp, Professions, PvP[even though it wouldnt work in Maple], etc)

The only thing I would like from LaTale to be brought to Maple is the good reward quests.

Professions though? I didnt play it too long but I didnt see anything like that other then digging which was a ridiculous Trickster Online ripoff.

It looks like a cool game. But it lacks something I really want- a companion that follows you and fight with you.
