According to Orange Mushroom, looks like Demon Slayer doesn't wield Blunt Weapons. Demon Slayer actually wields a new weapon called Scepters (홀.

I do apologize for people who got their hopes up too high.

That means that BW-related prices won't inflate because of the new price!

Maple is Stuck, deal with it. Releasing new classes so people join in the bandwagon its more easier than releasing new equipment, bosses, maps.

New Classes are pretty much Research and Development at this point: the best ideas end up standard issue across the whole Category. I'm not criticizing it though, The variety helps the game look more lively...

And after actually reading the link, I see that they do, infact, use BW. But they also can use this new scepter type.

Scepters suck. Low base speed, pomegranate damage, and terrible specs that no Paladin actually needed except a Cleric, unless you were some sort of a poor papaya.

Scepters give a higher crit ratio in other games, and in a certain dungeon crawler it also gives you great skill bonuses.

1)That was NEEDED on mages
2)NLS had first. Shads should have always had.
3)Still no comment on Glacial chains
4)You got me there I think archers needed a transportation skill. I think every class should even warriors. Warriors need a dashing like skill.

You say slayers do not wield BWs, yet the article in your link clearly says it can use both 1h BWs and the new sceptre.
Perhaps this piece of info was edited in later:

Demon Slayers are able to use two weapons. One is the one handed blunt weapon, and the other is a new weapon called a sceptre (홀, which can be classified as a blunt weapon but it’s a new type. Sorry about my mistake, but at least you won’t have to sell off your blunt weapons if you’ve bought them already!

At this point, I'd say it's just best to wait and see. That way, speculation doesn't kill us. XD

I'm assuming Scepters will probably have some sort of advantage over using 1h Blunt Weapons.

Maybe they're weaker than BW but faster? Not sure, haven't seen the tables on them.

Meh... It never looked like a blunt weapon to me.. Dunno why people assumed it was. Okay maybe I do but it doesn't look exactly like the current blunt weapons.
Plus, in the conference they showed 4 different pictures or so of it wearing their scepters at different levels
