Fall Class Schedules

Wow... some of your schedules hurt my brain. I actually can't register for classes till July 14th. Most likely it will be a Psych, Soc, Bio, English and something else... I'm crazy.

Yeah, I've taken crazy schedules my first two semesters as well. First semester I took 19 credits and second semester I took 20 credits. All while taking part in the Italian and Triathlon Clubs are Virginia Tech. No Mapling during school, of course.

Most extreme schedule ever.

There is a course, you didn't look hard enough. xD Like I said, it's a placeholder the education abroad department uses to make sure my school doesn't withdraw me and secure my financial aid, etc.

Finally had my orientation and got my schedule.



It was actually quite an adventure because I couldn't find a fourth class. I didn't want to take another science class and someone there recommended the 277 class but you could only sign up to be put on a waitlist, so I had to keep looking. Then everything else that looked kinda interesting either only had seats that were reserved or did not fit my schedule. Just as I gave up, the 277 class turned from yellow to green all of a sudden. I quickly clicked the enroll button and there was my schedule. I still need a first year seminar though.

By the way, if my advisor signs with his first name, should I address him by his first name, too? Feels unnatural both ways.

Taking intro to Earth and planetary sciences, comparative literature, ancient roman history, and Oceanography. I'm undeclared in the 3rd year so i have to catch up, but stupid CAL has semester system and i screwed up my scheduling (the literature class is mandatory for graduation and they stop allowing jrs and srs to take it after this coming semester so i HAVE to take it this semester aand the damned thing conflicts with another on of the necessary classes i need to declare the earth and planetary science major ~.~)

Yeah, advisors at college are actually supposed to be more of friends and role models for us, so you should feel as comfortable as possible, and you should be coming them through the semester and letting them know how everything is going. Address him by his first name, that seems like what he wants if he signs that way.

I can't finish my schedule because all the classes I need are full. I hope they free up a week before school starts since many students seem to change their minds.

Hopefully that is the case. My online Drop/Add system opens up again on August 8th, so hopefully I will be able to get the Differential Equations class that I want and that best fits my schedule.

I made this for myself cause I'm cool and going to community college.
