Poll: Is it ok to urinate in the shower?

Hey hey, it's totally understandable. I can honestly and completely understand how the biological differences could certainly play a very dramatic role in someone's opinion.

Why wouldn't it? If you get some on yourself, aim better and wash it off. Going to the toilet for this is a waste of water.

That said, I don't try to go in the shower, but if nature calls while I'm in there why not?

I take up to 30 minutes in the shower, so yeah, if I have to pee I'll just stay in the shower. No sense in getting out of the shower dripping water all over the floor and getting the toilet seat all wet.

They told us in school that it's better to pee in the shower than in the toilet because the shower takes less water. Having said that i already go if i needa go, never been a problem for me.

Whatever gets on you from both piss and poo is completely water soluble, my sister is doing medicine and she even said you don't need soap to wash after going to the bathroom since it all goes away with water.

But meh to me it's not a big issue and not really something i think about, but it's not something i do myself either. It has happened in emergencies.

And no, in fact all the water goes together in the sewers and then is treated and becomes the water you drink the next day.

Snails, insects, animal blood, protein from poo, etc (though I've already eaten snails and animal blood myself, it's very good).

Who cares, I more shower just to wake myself up anyway. Not like I'm standing under the shower drinking the water while I'm pissing into it. It's a personal shower anyway, nobody else uses it, and I'm not a hospitable enough person to care if they wanted to.

I don't think anyone does, which is why you're in the shower. It's not like the thread is asking, "Is it okay to piss all over yourself in public and walk around like that all day?"

Besides, urine is composed of unnecessary side products that are dumped into your bloodstream by chemical reactions that occur in your body. Are you saying that your own blood is gross? The only reason urine is considered unsanitary is that when it has been left stagnant for a while, microorganisms can start breeding inside it.

Hang on, there's no right or wrong answer here. It's an opinion poll. If Sarah doesn't think it's ok, that's fine. I feel like this is getting a little heated and that's not the point.

Not sure if the poll is a bit biased but I would imagine there are more males voting than females. Something, I would think, would skew the results in favor of it being ok. Fine with me though, as that's my personal opinion.

Pig's blood is pretty nice. I've yet to have eaten insects on a regular basis, although I'd like to try out beetle grub. I ate a dried cicada once when I was in China; tasted very nutty. Haven't eaten snails, but have eaten periwinkles. It helps a ton I grew up on Chinese cuisine. It's nigh impossible for me to be disgusted by anything short of rotten food.

I tend to go before I take a shower, but if I get hit by a second wave/extreme thirst coming back to haunt me, I just go in the shower. Otherwise, nope.
