2011 Summer Update

That would actually make sense, given how fast leveling is now and how overpowered characters are compared to monsters.
Nobody bothers to replace weapons often, or do more than the most rudimentary scrolling on anything but their "end-game" weapons, because why bother when you can 1-hit anything with a random weapon you just picked up, and you're going to be 10 levels higher tomorrow anyway?

You get a new one and start leveling it up from scratch.

Obviously this will encourage people to get their end-game scrolling done as early as possible, so as to benefit from as many level-ups as possible. More $$ for Nexon as people use Vegas, Pam's, Tim's, Wards and whatnot (maybe cubes too, although I'm not sure how potential tiers would adjust) at level 10, and then abandon the character at level 100...

Well, the Demon Slayer gives us the real meaning behind the name of the Black Mage's followers (Black Wings).

My guess would be that the black wings were developing these creatures all along to serve as the black mage's army. They probably look the way they do because tey are synthetic life forms.

I think the ifinia/ losing loved one story sounds more maple like. I mean they did the same thing for Van Leon right? seems logical that they would be able to do that for the Demon Slayer.

Also, does it really matter what weapon he uses? I mean cmon you wont be able to see the weapon half the time considering how flashy his skills are so stop the bickering(lol)

I think I know why Nexon hasn't done the Thief and Pirate revamp yet: It's because they don't consider adventurer class rebalancing to be worthy of being part of their big Winter and Summer updates.

Notice how Jump was practically crammed in between Chaos and Legend, and the adventurer balancing before Big Bang was done right after the release of Evan in KMS. Hell, they had a chance to rebalance adventurers during Chaos, but no, they went with the Legends and Dual Blade first instead.

In that case, I would expect the Thief and Pirate revamp to show up sometime in September/October/November, right before their expected Winter update.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I can't watch YouTube videos, but were all of the skills that they showed for Mercedes actually mob skills?

If so, I'd expect her to be the archer with the best mobbing ability (which isn't much when considering that archers tend to be terrible at mobbing), but not very good at single target attacks. Or Nexon could make her completely overpowered, like I'm half expecting because it seems Nexon doesn't know how to design an archer class nowadays without making them either underpowered, overpowered, and/or without a Hurricane-type skill.

I have a feeling that the turning point of when the Demon Slayer leaves the Black Wings and joins the Resistance is in that slide with the burning house and him looking at the locket. He probably lost a loved one in that fire, caused by the Black Wings, and wants revenge to avenge her?

Well it looks like she is going to be the best mobbing archer as well as have some extreme 1v1 skills considering she has the double crossbow hurricane thing. They didnt show it but almost all of her skills that were showed were super-awesome mobbing skills

Mercedes is a hilarious class name. She's the king/queen of elves, she has fabulous clothing and hair, she rides pegasi, and she has the flashiest skills ever from the looks of it.

I actually am choosing to interpret it as a metaphor...
She's Maplestory's Madonna... or Cher... or Kylie Minogue... or Lady Gaga.

Also pretty sure they ripped 'Mercedes' from Glee because 'Rachel' would have been too subtle.

Those animations make everyone else look like pomegranate yet again. I like it.

I thought the Canon Shooter looked a bit bland before but now compared to these two new ones it looks really dull.

Mercedes makes the whole Aran and Evan naming system look stupid they should have come up with a unique name for Evan if there weren’t going to do a theme.
She reminds me of a bow using Dual Blade how she moves all over the screen. The Dual wielding bows look a bit horrible though. The skills look kind of better than I expected but I’ll have to wait to see them all before I make up my mind.

The Demon Slayer sure sounds very interesting, I liked what they did with Aran and the combo system since it was something different so hopefully they can come up with something good for this class. Not sure on the skills I saw in the short trailer either, they look flashy but I’ll have to wait and see again. Since it has wings and such I can see this being the most popular of the three.

Transfering EXP sounds good depending on how it works, I have a few characters I wouldn’t plan on using again. Oh and more potions per slot is definitely appreciated.
Also interested in seeing these new crafting recipes too, seems like it might be a good summer for KMS.

I think it'd be cool if the Black Mage managed to stay alive so long by possessing bodies every so often, and that he couldn't use his full power due to incompatbility issues. So in order to trully be "revived" he has Gelimer working to make a body that can be fully compatible with the Black Mage's powers or something. Upon learning this, our synthetic warrior abandons the Black Wings to try and escape his fate of being a vesil for the Black Mage and live his life freely.

Blunt weapons are more brutal than you think. At least you can't feel the limb that got sliced off, trying moving after suffering broken bones or collapsed organs.

...people need to stop pretending that there was ever a 'naming system' for Legends.
Evan is just as 'unique' a name as Mercedes and Aran. That is to say that none of them are very unique at all.

I'm not arguing that, but an axe just looks more bad ass, especially for this class. Can you see kratos using two goddam big maces? NO.
