The mom is just plain retarded Did the kid deserve an ass beating for breaking the T.V sure with a belt or something. But punching and kicking a 5 year old?! The hell is wrong with some people?

Since the general focus of the education of reproduction only contain biological based teachings, I'd propose some form of financial education or aid on the matter. I mean the reason most teenagers don't have cars in high school (depending on the school of course) are because they can't afford one. It doesn't cost a dime to make a baby, just to raise it and most people tend not to have financial responsibility until they're well into adulthood (sometimes that's not even true).

My middle school did that. I don't remember the exact number, but it was in the area of 80-120 grand as I recall.
