Nope, since when did you see a pirate named Bart? I'm getting hyped up over pirates now, just to get disappointed most likely. Sad

Aw, they should've made it time-consuming. Those quests where they send you on a fifteen minute boat ride only to talk to someone for 3000 exp annoy me. At least make me hunt something, that's more fun...

Still, interesting. Apparantly MSEA has a different view on the genders than everyone else.:f6:

I think I posted the text before, and so did Platodino if I'm remembering correctly. It was put into MSEA data a month or two ago.

Yup, Issac's right. Platodino of the Playpark MSEA forums DID put it there. It was extracted from the v0.53 or v0.54 of MSEA's data, i think. When i did the quest i was like, OMG did i read this somewhere before?

Off-topic: Nice profile pic, Issac. I'm too lazy to make one >_> And i preferred your Crimsonwood Grandmaster thing, it sounds cooler.

I don't think it was *That* old, but it was posted a while ago. more like the .60 or .61 MSEA client.

But yeah, the quest text isn't too significant in the long run, it's just nice that they actually acknowledge Pirates beforehand rather than just "*POP* HERE'S A TOWN!" For most areas in Ossyria, there's a legitimate excuse for how they could have not been accessible before, but a town randomly occurring on the relatively well-mapped Victoria is pretty weird.

(in regards to the profile, If you haven't caught on yet I'm doing themed titles and avatars with regards to the prospective contents of the next patch :p)

Oh, and about this latest MSEA ad for pirates:
http://strategywiki.org/wiki/MapleStory/...ide/Skills

Compare the text there to the ad. They're sapping my resources again XD

Has anyone noticed under the title "What's your Specialty?" they said "When you have grinded your way to level 30..."? For shame. It's not that hard to get that level anyways.

Technically I suppose grinding is training for long periods of time? If it is, then you would have technically grinded to 30 if you pqed a lot, if not, then grinding is probably training through the killing of monsters for long periods of time.

I dunno, just my two cents. An off-topic two cents at that.

Anyway, The GMS patch should be in a few days, hopefully we'll get those pre-pirate quests, because if we do, it will be a simultaneous release with MSEA. Cool

Just totally out of curiosity... Do korean pronouns (if there are any) have gender?

Most of the translations seem to fail at that.

I always thought that gunslingers were more like a bowman/assassin breed, and infighters are warrior/bandit.

It's questionable if the mSEA translators even tried.
Just looking at Kairin's sprite, you can see the obvious female parts.
