just noticed the 170 dex req ... and i thought getting 80 was hard.... jeebus.
chtp = 40 ... 23 base ... thats 63 ... hmmm .... nope theres no way ... im gonna need to raise my dex ... it cant be done.

Go for the purple surfboard, believe me, it's minimum difference for the same effect. If you add dex you're just hurting yourself. Think about it, let's say you have perfect ears (assuming they arent part of the set) face/eyes, to get another 27+27+20 ish. Real rough estimate, but 74 extra dex, to the 63, that brings you to 130. What would 30 str mean? Well, if your total % str is 100%, it means another 30 str, so 60 str lossed.

let's look at these 5, they all are 130+, so potential is great on all of them, even more if 4th tier stays, now, all together give a bonus 20 all stat, they alone, pre-scrolling, give ANOTHER 39 all stat, and then you have your base 4 and skill of +30 main/secondary stat, just by equipping this set, you are gaining: 93 secondary and main stat! and this is pre-scrolling! now, looking at them individually:

mask has no slots, but has w.attk, only replacement would be a branch nose, which is second tier, so it's not as bad as it sounds (unless you have a DB mask)

earring is like super rose earrings, other option would be the 125 rex earrings that give the extra 10% hp, but those aren't around yet, so it's up to you which one to get. but these are basically VIP requiring karma.

ring: BB ring minus 1 in everything, it still stacks with BB rings 1 and 2, so it's a GREAT ring.

pendant: ok, a htp is 22 all stats 2 slots, this is 16 all stat, but also gives w.attk, and has 2 more slots! in my opinion, it's more risk/reward than a HTP, it could end better, it could end worse, but this one can be scrolled without chaos too, meking it better IMO (and if 4th tier isn't removed, winning by far)

belt: VIP belt on steroids (w.attk) so it's great.

so the set is kind of risky, but even clean, worth it. your opinion?

I say invest into the purple surfboard until it's actually possible to get that equipment dexless. It probably isn't possible until we get the items PolearmDrk listed.

you got sniped, but yea, that's why i didn't account for it, still, that's 93 secondary, and not even accounting 2 more rings and normal equips (helm/shoe/etc)

not to mention, you don't NEED 170 dex all the time, you only need your dex to match 170 for the items to stay equipped, this means that if one of the 170 dex req items gives you +5 dex, and you equip it while having 165 (+5 dex from the equip you are replacing) you would still get to have the item equipped.

I mean +2 all skills = constants combat orders ... + 30 weapon attack + god knows how much str and attack from every one of those equips 30% boss damage and stuff.. all seems crazy cool. I dont know ... well if its priced well ... not max mesos per equip ... we'll see what happens.

Not in denial, I just never assumed they would essentially flat out con thousands of people. That's pretty bad to release a high-end event, basically catered towards your more serious crowd, and then later down the road make everything obsolete.

They aren't VIP for nothing. You paid to have better stats while it lasted. Everyone knew it was coming. Feel conned? Bye.
