Dual Blade Formula Question (Post-Chaos)
#1
How will the Dual Blade's formula different from now?
The dagger multiplier is 1.30, katara is 1.20. Does their multipliers stack as 2.50 post chaos?
Do the potential lines stack?

1.- No?
2.- Yes.

they probably nerfed the formula a little bit in Chaos since they combine them together essentially. By how much i do not know.

We're not sure on either, to be honest.
The potential lines according to Casper have always stacked in kMS. Yet it never did over here, so really I don't see why everyone is so crazy over stacking potential lines.

2.50 modifier would be fantastic.

if it was a 2.5 modifier

i'm going to have over 300 total combined weapon attack when chaos hits and thorns gets 30att

jesus christ.
its attack*multiplier, right?

so what, that gives me... 750?

I'd be...

2.5 * (4*LUK+STR+DEX)*(weapon att / 100)

For max dmg.

...
If this is true
rough estimation without looking at my character, I know he has somewhere around 1,000 total luk, 80 str or so, and around 200 total dex
2.5*(4*1000+80+200)*(300/100)= 32,100

My current range has a displayed max of I think 17k or so.

Christ, that's going to be overpowered as hell, if that's the formula, and if I did the math right.

Before people go crazy with retarded speculation, it's not 2.5. It's about the same as what it is now, except the Blade weapon attack is merged into the Dagger weapon attack, like a shield.

Ah, so damage calculation is based off of what, the dagger multiplier?
Did the multipliers change after chaos?
I must perform more science.

Lmao.

People that lurk Southperry and post on Basilmarket/Sleepywood/Other forums tend to take things posted here like holy water. Like when Casper said that 30% boss stacks, everyone and their mother assumes it stacks post chaos even though no one took the time to prove it right (I tried, don't think I justified.).

But spreading rumors and causing panic amongst the gullible is fun. >:

Okay then. I figured I would try to find out lol.
 Spoiler
406 total weapon att.
1817 total LUK
210 total DEX
81 total STR
28890~41272
41272=x*(4*1817+81+210)*(406/ 100)
x=1.3448

It's just the Dagger formula with the Blade as a really fucking high attack shield.

Dagger multiplier got changed from 1.3 -> 1.34?
That explains why my range went up on shad a bit lol

It's 1.35 and I believe it did change. I tested this on Tespia, and found that the formula shown on screen was equal to the damage done in-game, so I guess the dagger formula was increased. Didn't notice that specifically, but you can check by calculating your damage without a Blade on. I'm too lazy to go on my crappy Dual Blade. Going to sleep instead. For real this time.
