So you are saying Nexon puts that notice up, they put 25 ATT SCGs in the Economy, and who ever buys them should be banned because they have similar SCG? :f6: , Or they put a store full of originals and then look at who bought the originals, then look at if they duped or not?

Nexon tells everyone, makes a notice, runs that banner on the top of the screen: If you have even an inkling that this item may be duped, do not go anywhere near it.

Nexon creates and uses a character with the IGN eqoijdaforpg. In some FM, eqoijdaforpg's Hired Merchant is selling 16 (or whatever full stock is) of identical 25ATT SCG with some potential, 10% All Stat perhaps. These are obviously duped or would be if Nexon didn't create them. Sell out, restock and repeat for as many times as desired in which ever servers desired.

Surprise SC! Bans all around for purchasers and possessors.

Duping items is already essentially "Duping Mesos" just solely from the NPC Value, regardless of how big or little it actually is.

Honestly, I could see that....

How to fix duping.

1.) Remove mushroom / whatever shops from the game entirely
2.) Regular store permits are now the only option.
3.) Force save the character's data whenever a sale takes place.

Isn't some of it done through the storage as well? Or at least it is possible through the storage?

Selling out on a store, and then logging out on the character who had purchased the items to save their inventory data, then crashing the channel to reset the store so they didn't lose the items, is a major dupe method.

but yes, since the inventory database and the storage database are separate, due to storage being account/server wide, and inventory being player side, placing an item in storage, and crashing the channel, could potentially duplicate the item. But I'm not sure, and I sure as pineapple aren't going to test my theory.

The MTS is where I get about 85% of my NX from so they had better come up with some other way for players to get NX if they were to remove it.

If I used a lot of cubes on my equips yesterday and there is a rollback, do I get the cubes back? o.O
