Nexon, just ban anyone with duped items including the ones who bought them cause they did not obliviously buy them not knowing it was duped cause any normal person knows if they see 10+ pages in mts of the same 26atk scg or 27atk vss something isnt right!

They should just roll back to like 6PM EST yesterday or something. If they ban anyone, they should be IP banning/billingPP banning the people who actually crashed the channels.

What if you scroll 2 scgs and the same amount of 60%s land on each eh?

The Cake vs Pie event is indeed what's causing the crashes (as found by doing some research on W8). However, I still feel insulted by the whole thing.

Well I wasn't talking about 27 in general.Pretty much just saying IF NEXON went through the MTS they could mistake someone who say sold two 14 attack scgs for "exploited"

Hmm. I figure if a person only has one of a duped item, it would be enough punishment to just delete it (and not restore their NX, obviously). Yes, they knew it was duped, but, the temptation is too high, especially considering the way Nexon has been letting people get away with much worse.

However, anyone who has 2 or more of the same item should get temp-banned, and anyone who has or had (check MTS history!) more than 6 should be perma-banned. Numbers somewhat higher for scrolls, but the same principles apply:
- If you bought for personal use, your only punishment is to lose the items;
- If you bought more, to resell, you get a small ban (in addition to losing the items), just to make it clear Nexon can find everyone who were trying to profit off this exploit, directly or not;
- If you had a large amount, you are probably a duper or working closely with one, and deserve the worst Nexon can dish out.

I hope they don't remove the CvP event entirely. I was about two days away from the 2 attack shoulder...

I don't even think there's a solution to ban all the exploiters and not wrongfully ban anyone. If Nexon just had GMs that worked on Weekends (GOOD GMs) then thing would be totally different. They should just hire programmers just to find exploits, they need that really bad. But Nexon won't do it...I know they won't....Lol

This is not completely true. You can't expect every single person to know this is something bad. If you're completely new to MTS and you saw these gloves in the FM several times sold for high prices. You might think that the price they are being sold for right now is the average price. And to boot, there are many players who are younger then 14 and get NX from they're parents etc. Not everyone is known with this sytem or the exploits. Many will see it as a good deal and get one to get some mesos. Might sound really stupid but some people are completely unaware of whats going on around them. -cough- nexon -cough-

That's what's so insulting about this "with the help of the community" notice. Give the community a way to contact you during off-hours! It's so incredibly frustrating to see all the many posts on their forums (in addition to fan sites), watch the smegas in-game, and imagine how many tickets are logged, whenever there's an exploit/hack running. For hours and sometimes days, the community tries desperately to call their attention to a problem, but they're oblivious.
They won't hire GMs to work nights and weekends? Fine. Just place one on-call and give the number to a few trusted members of "the community". We'll do their work for free, if they'd only let us!

Nexon should be able to delete duped items. Whether they will is another question entirely.

And if they can't find GMs to work at night try to hire some people in other countries? let's say europe or w/e... when USA is sleeping they are all awake. kinda stupid in my opinion.

I just think, Nexon has been too soft on us. If they don't ban everyone with duped items, then hackers will win. As always.
Also @ CvP event.. I hope they don't close that either.. My shadower is glitched since last SC with almost 200 unspent insignia

I think it's going to take something really drastic before they actually implement something that will work. It's honestly not that hard.......Yes there will always be hackers, but if they pay programmers to stop hackers like W8 and GK it takes away A LOT of hackers. How hard is it to go to a hacking website then look at where everyone is hacking. Start banning people left and right, SHUTDOWN GK AND W8. Then all you have is the actual hackers that design the hacks instead of 46733386 script kiddies who download. I don't know why it's so hard for the to do the right thing....
