MLG collombus

So MLG collombus is coming up in 2 days, are you guys looking forward to it?
I'm mainly awaiting the starcraft 2. Hoping to see some epic casts and games, artosis and day[9] and others are showing up.

MLG was only interesting for me when they had Tekken 6. The Atlanta Tekken crew was always fun to watch. Too bad MLG doesn't have any fighting games anymore (although I'd be willing to bet that Neverealms is trying their hardest to get MK9 in MLG for next year, but that game hardly counts).

The fighter/FPS tournaments at MLG are actually pretty small in terms of viewership compared to SCII. It seems like MLG is investing a lot on that side of the league. I mean paying for 5 koreans to fly over to Columbus to play is pretty expensive.

I did end up getting a weekend pass. The matches last night were all really really good, only drawback was incontrol/losira match getting delayed for ~1 hour due to losira having keyboard issues. For the matches that were not played on the main stage, you were able to stand pretty much right behind the players and watch and they had two mini stage stations that were just on a slightly raised platform that you could stand about 5 ft away and watch. They had the computers hooked up to 50in flatscreens for people to watch, so I got to watch MC, MMA, Tyler and Naniwa play from like 10 ft away. I have a few pictures on my phone that i will try to figure out how to upload, but they are not the greatest by any means.

Day 9 and Dj Wheat are great, but hopefully Tasteless and Artosis are shown today. Last night they just had one stream showing and it was day 9 all night.

I mean at the event, you could only watch day 9.

So I got to watch MC, MMA, Tyler and Naniwa play from like 10 ft away.

I am so jealous.


And i fell asleep after around 3 hours, zzzz. the games started around 00:00 am for me, so was so sleepy after 3 hours <_<
