Look at the prizes, they're the same freaking prizes as the artifact hunt from 2009. We didn't get the face accessory or better glasses and hat. I'mma be pissed as hell if the Top 10 medal is the same as well.

This event isn't even worth it if you have 3line level 31+ eye wear. Leave it to NexonNA to nerf the ONE event I was looking forward to the most.

As of now (5.5 hours since event start), Kradia's top 10 list only includes two people, both apparently botters (cf. prejudice thread). No idea why they bother to renew the excavation permit. But, I'm sure that if the prizes were really worth it, all top 10 would be characters you couldn't hope to pass legitimately.

I don't really care about the prizes, but do these notices I've been seeing mean I could randomly level up to 189 on my bishop while hunting artifacts?? And if so, how rare is this?

I can't say how common it is, but even in a smallish server like Galicia and at the current time (i.e. not that many people on), I can say that it seems more common than I expected. Seems like it might be worth trying for if each level is exhausting to attain and you want to compete for the title.

I was on for a while earlier, and a seemingly randomly blue message appeared saying "XXX has leveled from the artifact event" or something along those lines. I assume thats what they mean.

Yes. When Spadow posted about the last artifact event on KMS, he mentioned that there was a small chance of a level up when picking up an artifact. We don't seem to have gotten an exact copy of that event, since we don't have the new prizes they had (face accesory, medals), but as of this morning, there have been a ton of blue notices saying [Ancient Artifact Contest] So and so has leveled up with the power of the Legendary Artifact.

I might as well try, since I'm not even training until i max my Flame Gear. All I'm pretty much doing this event is getting cake/pies and hunting for my Flame Gear quests.

lol, tell me about it, I saw around 4 or 5 notices last night when the event started, but I wasn't one of them and I just got to 5k points for top 10 and stopped.

Is it me or does MS seem very, very smooth and a lot less laggier after this mini Patch?? I tested my internet speed and it's the same as it always is and there's like no delay whatsoever when talking to NPC's and jumping around in towns, FM you name it. I'm really rather surprised at how smooth things seems in game right now, and I'm only having to CC once to CC now but we'll see how that adds up in the later day.

The amount of Cake Pieces and Pie Pieces that must be turned in to start the town battles has been considerably reduced.

Before, 200 pies/cakes was roughly 1%, this morning i donated 150 and it only went up 1%.

Oh and also, they forgot to mention they were taking White Scrolls (and Chaos) out from the rewards. So to anyone who was collecting insignias for that, good news, you can stop doing the event!

I've only seen one in the 30 minutes I've been on, but hard to say if it's because it's too early or if they reduced rate.

EDIT: they might have nerfed it. I've only seen like 2 or 3 notices all morning.

By the way, you now get 1% from pie/cake battles no matter your level (if you win of course).

They removed white scrolls from the pie/cake prize list for some reason.
