Unpack your shovels and get ready to dig, because Maple World has treasure to be found! The Ancient Artifact Hunt is returning on June 1st, 2011 with another chance to get a permanent Archeologist Hat or permanent Archeologist Glasses.


The Artifact Hunt is simple! Pick up Mysterious Artifacts from monsters and gather 5,000 excavation points to receive the regular Archeologist Hat and Archeologist Glasses. If youre one of the top 10 archeologists by 5 PM Sunday (Pacific) during the duration of the event, then your hat or glasses can become permanent! (Youll have one full week to redeem your reward.)





Prepare to earn big rewards, Maplers. As they say, third times a charm!
- Uncover eight different treasures and return them to their owners to get a Mystical Artifact Discoverer Medal!
- Maintain your spot as a top 10 archaeologist for a week to earn an Artifact Top 10 Medal!
- Reach 30,000 excavation points and receive a special mount skill as a reward!


Talk to Gaga, get an Excavation Permit and head out to hunt! Event runs through June 28th.

But this event has all the things we love about events! Lots of ect drops to get in your way, message spam and temporary rewards! Whats not to love!

It is. You can even get 2 MAD's.

What's so great about the medal? It's probably the only thing i can get especially if the top 10 people are all botters...

I somewhat wished they made they didn't require people to remain in the top 10 for a whole week in order to get permanent equipment. I wouldn't mind a weaker version just for getting X points.

This event makes me wonder if level 120 Cygnus Knights and/or level 200s can break their level cap to 121 or 201. Haha.

I've been reading announcements of players leveling up due to this event on game... could someone please explain me how does the insta-level up work exactly and what's the probability of it happening?

meh, The only thing gets annoying is always having a empty Slot =.=

From what people are saying, it gives you enough EXP to instantly level +10% into the next level, but after a certain threshold, it glitches out and you get a fixed 550k EXP regardless of level.

Wait, how do we get the EXP? What do we need to do exactly? Sorry for my newbness

550k exp are from mystery artifact quest/getting 1k,4k,10k,20k points, insta lvls are random chance of getting when looting
