Looks like it's getting released in September as expected. Not to mention this awesome 6:30+ trailer that NIS left us with.

I usually hate Disgaea because of all of the loli (pineapple off flonne you ruined D1 for me) but that is a really good trailer and I'm going to buy this now.

Oh dear god. Am I reading this right: 5,486 hours into the game?! As amazing as I know it will be, that'll destroy my life and is therefore not for me. I'm not going to touch the Disgaea series ever. However, those who are getting the game, I hope you have loads of fun. Words can't describe how over the top and crazy that trailer was.

Another reason to buy a PS3. I never got to play 2 or 3 though (I hope 2 comes to the 3DS, some moves would be awesome with the 3D).

Hopefully this will skip over the mediocrity of 3 and be as awesome as 2 was, again. I really like how Astarotte (one of Haga Yui's characters) got into Dis4 in the form of a skill animation; Haga Yui's art is noticeably a tribute to Takehito Harada's, so the artist that is ripping off Disgaea's artist's art got their art into Dis4! harrharr

I won't lie, D2 is my favorite Disgaea game, but I really doubt they'll go backwards in the game mechanics for D4, if that's what you even meant in the first place.
I'm really interested in seeing how they can break the game even more though, since D3 pretty much destroyed it when you could hit 1.17 Quadrillion damage.

@Flonne: O U. You pro Disgaea players, I think I always got up to 300-400 hours per game. I never tried too hard, in all honesty. Most of my characters were still double digits, haha.

I have to imagine a large portion of that, like, at least two thirds, is leaving the game on while doing other things. There's no effective pause button so it's very likely.

Rofl, tell me about it. The only thing I hope they DO change is increase the chance to dupe items with the PPS, because that pomegranate was annoying as hell getting multiple Trapezohedron and TRYING to get multiple Barefoot X :|

I'm not gonna bother trying to get a r0 Baal Axe or beat LoC Baal...
One perfect character is enough for me. At least my "Masked Man" has 3 perfect movement Barefoot X lol
