Edit : According to the dialog that JapanMS always releases as a teaser for the next patch, we're also getting the new guild updates and then something about... driving cars? Lol

Wow, how did I miss this thread? I'm going to cry on the inside so much if this comes to gMS. Everyone going to go Hero + Shadow Partner, and the game will be no more.

I'm still convinced this is a huge joke/tespia only thing.

It's just so silly, anyone who doesn't make a Hero/Shadow Partner Class combo is at an automatic disadvantage. It would be better if this was more like UA's with it being exclusive to 200's and only 1 Skill being carried over in a weaker form.

With as many people I hear are complaining, it wouldn't surprise me if this didn't reach the official server.

Anywho~ I got to level 130 and figured I had most decent skills as far as I could get them, so I went ahead and rebirthed. Here's a video for you guys :

More will come as I get higher levels/job advancements. I laughed so hard when I found out Monster Magnet works with a bow. !

Unfortunately, MetaSeraphim is right -- Dark Force (Berserk) doesn't work as an Archer. :| I may SP reset those skills into something else, if I can. lol

I cant really see a good like.. upgrade for archers at all.. :/

Is it possible to use previous job equipment from your past job? Eg. Dark Knight equipment can be used as a reborn Archer etc.etc.

Also, I'm at a hault. Lol

Due to a bug, I cannot add SP into my 2nd job skill book, so I'm stuck using 1st job skills until that bug is fixed. :|

I've even tried sacrificing some of my 2nd job SP and putting them in 1st job skills, but I still can't pump 2nd job skills.

I think this combination is not really that fun to be really honest.
And I wonder when we get that NX wing cape thing in GMS I must have itttt

I would try that, but there's the issue on how to get Summoning Rocks in the test server. :X

Also... How would that work... Wouldn't the Paladin have to have LUK, since the daggers require LUK as well?

It's either STR or LUK, DEX is the requirement they both share. You'd need a lot of DEX though, the same amount of DEX a thief at that level would require.

Oh. It's STR and DEX. Still, you'd need a lot of DEX to be able to wear one, unless you used a VIP Dagger. XD That would be so awesome!

Well, until the whole bug issue with 2nd job SP not being able to be allocated after rebirthing, I'm going to make a new character, but what class(es) should I work on next?

Picking a class with shadow partner doesn't mean you have to use it.

I want to see DB->shad. Probably can't use most skills because of no katara though. But you can't do it the other way around...resistance->anything else?

Dual Blades, Arans, Evans, Wild Hunters, Battle Mages and Mechanics cannot make use of this system at all.

What would be a good reason for Viper to Captain, though? O_o That boat thing... I doubt it. It would be hilarious, but there's not much application to it. A whole extra bit of weapon attack. Whoohoo. XD

Dual Blade's Mirror Image is better than Shadow Partner and does not cost Summoning Rocks. Turn one into a Hero and see if Combo rapes face more than it should. If Dual Blades can't be used for this pomegranate, then make something non-retarded. i.e. not a Bowman combination.
