Vanishing items hack or glitch?

someone told me that over night in the same fm i was in, ch 19 fm 1, his 11 luk earings went poof over night. they were not in shop, he was wearing them. and a girl next to him, lost her bow. poof not in shop, equiped. now the last thing i need is to lose ANY of my items.
so are there hackers running around picking items off of people? im to scared to even go in the FM and sell all my items now because of this. heeeelp <3

This is the second time I've heard this, strictly on the forums though. I haven't heard any rumors in-game but I don't doubt its truthfulness. We can only hope Nexon patches this and does it quick.

yeah, this is something that can not be controled. im selling everything from my mule, or atleast because im absolutly terrified.

EDIT: i hear its rollback related, or something... but im not sure... does that mean i can sell on my main and not lose my awsome stuff?..... i dont really know whats going on i dont wanna take a chance on it...

I've been hearing that certain worlds have been acting screwy, especially Scania. That could be related to your problem.

I've heard a couple of variations on this theme. In some, the character in question is playing normally and suddenly gets disconnected. When they log back in, some item they were wearing is gone. Others don't state whether they got booted or logged out normally, but also the items that disappear were equipped at the time.

So, to guard against this, perhaps you could un-equip any awesome items it would hurt to lose?
