My control in this video is exceptionally bad compared to what it really is. I don't usually attack so much after a monster is dead. The lag kind of interfered with me FJing around and stuff as well.



By the way, I think Gigantic Spirit Vikings are insane... The map layout makes grinding here insanely fast. I'm getting 48% (4%+ per 5 minutes) an hour at level 127...

I tried Warewolves, which are level 127, but I only get 36% (Around 3% per 5 minutes) an hour there.

Meso Explosion comes in handy sometimes.

Indeed. If you build up enough coins, you can blow them up as you go down in platforms for efficient 1-hitting if possible.

The pomegranateload of coins will only get in your way if a valuable item drops. This is, however, easily remedied by having a pet with autoloot.

Also, since you can't control where the mesos will explode anymore, trying to "1-hit" the mobs is pretty much just a shot in the dark and chances are you'll have to use ME more than once to kill the monsters, which will take longer than just using BS twice/three times.

It's just not worth it IMO.

Yeah, I stated this on some other thread as well. Really good EXP.

Just some thoughts on the video:

@0:18 - instead of jumping down, maybe it would be better to FJ to the right, turn left while in midair and use BS right before landing. Then procceed to clear the platform while going left, instead of going right and then left again.

@0:49 - jump down near those giant lamps then clear the platform from left to right.

On a side note, I didn't know how the animations on the Unwelcome Daggers looked like. Pretty cool. Too bad the daggers themselves are too ugly anyway.

Oh, yeah. A lot of my method if moving through the map is screwed up in this video because I was using 800x600 resolution when I normally use the bigger resolution. That made me a bit confused as to where I was, since I wasn't really paying attention to the game when I was recording this (my dad was talking to me, I think). xD

As far as ME goes, I only really use it when there's a lot of coins spread out on a platform and there's a good spawn all over the platform. At least that way, some monsters get hit or killed. Sometimes, that's better than using Band of Thieves and B. Step because it hits more targets in one sweep. A lot of the time, though, I just use Meso Explosion as an alternate if I get bored of swapping between Band of Thieves and Boomerang Step. I always make sure the mobs are over the area of coins before I use ME, though.
