I agree 100% - His Maple's Story! thread is absoutly wonderful. He's the only reason I would go to SW.

Ive been browsing around and havent found the answer anywhere so I guess I'll post it here: Why SouthPerry? Is there a reason behind the name or was it just random (as in you chose a random town and stuck with it)? Just a random curious question I suppose (its kinda like asking why the SW forums are called SleepyWood and not some other place, lol).

My guess would be that SouthPerry could be considered a much warmer and more friendly place compared to the dangerous and dark sleepywood. But that's just a random guess...

Sleepywood is called that because their main page contains a picture of a thief in the sauna.

This place is called Southperry for a variety of reasons. Number one, it's a new beginning (like creating a new character in Maple). Number two, it's sticking with the cliche of a town name. And lastly, number three, it's simple and easy to understand.

I always assumed SW was called that because the sleepywood sauna was the place to hang out back in the old days.
Also, because sleepywood was the biggest and baddest town out there (zomg rog help!!!)

Not too sure if southperry was significant enough to hang out in (except during events).

Then again, the only place to hang out now is in free market, and no one wants a regular forum site based on that place <_<

There is currently an event going to create a new banner, afterwards we will get new skins for the site.

Ithink southperry is a great name.


Its like the town before you move on the boat to get to the Main MS Island. And its kind of what you do....like extracting the data before we get it on the main island.

Also like the new begining analogy.
