Attempting to "Break" the new Guild System
#1
Hey guys,

My guild just hit lvl 3, and the idea of getting to lvl 4 is looking daunting.
Uh... I know that guilding a new guy gets 500 GP, but my guild is maxed, so I have to delete people to add people. Even if I delete the lowest contributors to the guild, they all still have 500 contribution.

What I want is to try to break this system.

I want to know what PQs give out GP, and I also wanna know if my idea will work.

When ya guild someone, you get an auto 500 GP, and when ya kick someone, ya lose their contribution.

So my idea is, what if I make a mule, guild him, and then delete the chara?
Do ya think that might skirt the penalty?

Basically, if anyone knows a good way to produce Guild EXP, please let me know!

~ Vicious

Edit : I just allied with my old guild I helped create, and go the master to jr. my mule, I noticed that some of the really inactive peeps in his guild had 0 contribution, so I'm wondering... When do they reset the contribution points? It is not during server checks.

PQs don't give guild exp and GPQ can't be done anymore. Best way is to level up and stay AFK 24/7.

Unless Nexon changed it, whenever you delete a character that was in a guild, the guild system will "Auto-Kick" said deleted character. At least that's what happened to a few players in my sisters' guild months ago.

Or with mesos. IIRC you gain GP everytime you buy a skill and re-activate it too..

Oh yeah. They're pretty expensive though. Leveling a guild through skills would be a pretty damn good meso sink over time.

They didn't reset, if you were in the guild before the patch, you start with 0 contribution.

reactivating it doesn't work, at least not for my guild.

I suck at math guys...

Lets say we had 100 guildies stay afk all day until we hit max guild lvl.
Lets assume they get 40GP per hour they are afk....

How many hours would it take to reach lvl. 5?

(i.e. - I don't know how much exp ya need to hit lvl 5)

Oh sorry guys.....

I must admit I am a little slack in looking through the board to try to find info...
(I will make an effort to us the search function more).

Uh...

I do have one more question (and it comes with a screenshot)

The number 1 contributer to my guild, NEVER gets on.... And he doesn't really lvl that fast...
So I'm wondering why he has more GP than me.... Even though I leave my chara afk almost 24/7?

I asked him if he buys guild skills a lot..... He says he hasn't bought 1....

So what is this guy doing... To out GP his guildmaster... Who is basically a "no-lifer"?

I need to find out how he got all that GP... Because he's doing something that I am not.

You can check if he has bought anything by looking at the guild skills page, incase he is lieing lol.

I'm almost 100% positive there are only 3 ways to get GPs now. Being logged in(10,20,30), buying skills(1000) and leveling up(80)

So he must just ninja afk on you or something

So I guess that dynamic is just... Gone?

I will hopefully see some of you guys in PvP then.....

Nexon needs to remove the useless rock..... Unless they have something up their sleeve... (*makes bad joke about dragon green sleeve*)

If GPQ is ever returning, then maybe they will add some use to the rock. But who knows, its nexon we are talking about after all.

As far as I know, you need to leave guild/sever ties before deleting a character. But it might have been changed when they made it so it auto-left families when you deleted.

And only the initial purchase counts for 1k GP. I wish it did.

Under the skill guild menu you'll find out who bought skills on the top.

And uh bro. He's not the only one raping your GP, you're only rank 5. If you truly do leave your character afk 24/7, then it's about 650 GP a day unless they changed it yet again last server check.
4960/650 = 7.63 days.
12460/650 = 19 days.

I suggest you look into your skill info and factor in your levels and such. I'm pretty sure the kid is just afking and more active than you.

Yeah, I've left my Paladin afk pretty well constantly since we got this, and it's at 20k+ GP, with no skills bought and only 1 levelup. So you're on more like 8 hours a day max >_>
