Question about Magatia
#1
I'm quite sure there are a lot of quests in Magatia, but, if I remember correctly, you can only join one of the two sides, and you get a cape as a proof.

My question is: Can you trick the other side using a cape from a friend? That is, if the quest is triggered by the cape, and not the side you chose from the quests. As far as I know, the capes are tradeable.

Any KMS player mind telling?

Also, since this thread seems pretty useless for this question only, I guess you could all ask to the KMS players too, some stuff.

Heh, that'd be quite cheap, if maple made any sense, but works for me!

Well, it's not like you're pulling one over on them, they figure you out eventually.

it's sort of complex but there is a discovery that pretty much requires both sides to put things aside. you can choose to deliver the information to one side or the other, or neither, I believe.

So regardless, the most quests would be with choosing both sides but it ends up evening out after they find out...or something...right? :f6:

Oh hey, I'm liking how it turns out to be! If they started chasing you with pitchforks and torches it'd the the icing to the cake.

No, if you only picked one side you'd probably only get 1/3 of the total quests because it's something like 1/3 Jenumist, 1/3 Alchadeno, and 1/3 quests-that-require-both-completed-and/or-neutral.

There is no advantage to not joining both sides.

By doing the quest to join each side? >_> It's pretty self-explanatory.

they are tradeable lol.

If you help one side more than the other, you can get a better cape for that side though. I guess that counts for something?

So, like....

Help This one More____Help Both___________Help this one More
<--|---------------------|-------------------------|-->

As far as the stats of the capes...right? o.o

ok, here's how it works.
At low levels, you get quests to choose which side you are (I think it's 35, cause that's what the capes are.) You can join both Alchadeno and Jenumist at the same time.

From 35 to 70-75ish, you get quests from each side. The quests only become available when you are wearing the cape for that side. You'll also get some quests from the neutral residents of the town or residents that belong to one side but need the help of anyone, regardless of that person's affiliation.

at 70 or so, something big happens. As you investigate it, both groups start paying attention to you. The Jenumist leader says that he knows that you're on both sides and doesn't care. When you go down to the underground and obtain the new information, you're pretty much given a choice of who you want to give the info to. If you go to either side but not the other then you'll get the level 70 cape for that group. I'm not sure what happens if you go the neutral route. (Edit: Z tells me the neutral path gives you a lot of fame but you don't get either cape.)

I'm also not 100% on the specifics of it. Magatia's pretty complex.

So...you could get both level 70 capes with 2 level 70+ characters...right? o.o

And yea, very complex. X_X

I don't know, they both suck. The level 35 capes don't even have slots.

No str/int/dex/luk? Fail.

So the magatia capes don't give any stats? dain...

And as for the Magatia PQ, are there any prerequisites? (eg. doing certain quests)
