My point was that when you kill at the speed that you and your friends (annihiIating, etc) do, something you can clearly see that me or anyone i know or care to party with is not capable of, the rules of slower characters don't apply as much if at all. If you had mobs that by your standards took a long time to kill and had tighter spawn (future ereve all up in this s'hit), then mobbing wouldn't be so overrated for you. o.o
Perhaps, but a mob of 4-6 in LHC is completely unrealistic IMO. No matter what kind of party it is. It's usually like 8 monsters per map at max. if you're the one with 4-6 on one platform, then you're not in the correct party becuase you are killing too slow.

But you can see orb hitting 4-6 several times in the video on the OP. o.o I've only seen a mob of 6 at bearwolves on one platform (the bottom) like two times ever and you're right that it shouldn't happen, but i think the only reason it did was because we were "throwing our weight around".

Yes, and I also see a full party attacking one monster. I can see how you only get 40mil an hour or whatever it is. Done with this topic, bye. :]

My opinion?
If you can't pull your own weight, you're doing it wrong.

Nice to see you're done with posting irrelevant points and then making wise cracks at someone who isn't as invested in this game as you only to leave when you "don't care anymore". I'm not going to be baited into battling wallet size. See you around.

Wasn't going to, but had to. Irrevelant posting is you acting like you're some expert at training, which to me is a huge LOL. "isn't as invested in this game", that comment made me laugh. I have spent probably $100 total in 5 years of playing MS. Theres something called the MTS, learn how to use it, you may get stronger.

He's posting different strategies, of which you agreed with. I don't see how they're irrelevant.

There are things to invest other than money, such as time, which I think is what Takebacker was referring to.

Welcome back!
That'd be something wouldn't it? I might have to kill myself in joy.

Investment can refer to more than simply USD. Do you not have investments in this game? Has my assumption of your PB escapades led me to believe you're somehow...not as rich/strong as i thought you were? Something like that must have sure taken some time to achieve. Much more than i've spent on this game. (not that i'm bashing you for time that i am ASSUMING you have spent, we're all addicts here)

He was using mobs of 4-6 being non-existent in his gameplay to justify (annihiIating's) argument that demo spam is more efficient, which at their power levels coupled with a power balanced party, i agree that it is. But it isn't relevant to me or most other buccaneers for that matter, where orb is still one of our strongest skills in a lot of situations even before the 200% buff.

You're right, it does depend on the player's strength. However, because their party is so evenly matched, the spawn is constant. I'm not going to act like I know how to play a bucc, because I sure as hell don't. I'm just trying to point out that if the whole party kills at the same rate, then you won't have an issue with 4-6 spawning at the same place, regardless of how strong, or weak, the party is as a whole. If this happens, like Magicianmt said, then you're not in the right party.
But, if you're happy where you're at then that's fine, too.
EDIT: And re-reading through your post because I skimmed it the first time I kind of just regurgitated what you said.

And as i've said before, i don't know anyone at my level who isn't ridiculously stronger than i am. (aka, i am weak) Therefore getting a party like that is extremely hard. Therefore the argument isn't relevant to me, or most buccaneers who like pretty much every other LHC random hive mind into thinking that any party is a good party. Not trying to make any generalizations here of course.

I love Orb, maxed it right after ST. I love it at Golems and Bearwolves, I wish it bounced upwards too though, and they should make the range longer.

Magicianmt Wrote:The point is to take a platform and stick to it, each member in party having their own platform. I don't see how you can pull up a mob of 4-6, you must be incredibly weak for that to happen first of all. and for mobs of 1-2 at something like golems, ST > DS/orb. Simply because you would kill the monster just as(or before) the next one spawns. We had a 3man party at golems(with two mules/HS on rope) Hero(me) soloing top and two buccaneers on bottom each taking their own platform respectively. The way the spawn showed up, everytime one of their golems died, another popped up, therefore they had constant spawn of just one golem(sometimes two) putting ST > demo/orb.
I don't understand why you posted this. He's able to hit 4~6 mobs BECAUSE he uses orb, which lets him hit all the monsters at the right time. If he was using DS then he would be hitting the 2 mobs that spawn on his platform, he would be killing slower and he wouldn't be recieving as much EXP as he was with orb. You're comparing wrong things here, the map is different and the situation is different. Just because a skill allows you to constantly attack alot of mobs doesn't mean he weak, it just means the skill lets you do that(ex: pre-bb mages).

You can clearly see in the video that he is attacking different platforms while he has like 2 monsters on his top platform. Don't think like a level 200 hero, who can destroy the whole platform in a minute, think like a level 171 bucc, one of the weakest jobs in maple at the moment, we excel at killing 6 mobs while you are more 2~3 oriented. He's just taking full advantage of that skill.

Making barrage into a hold-down skill like hurricane is the best idea I've heard for buccaneer changes
Eliminate shockwave --> Move Barrage here --> make barrage barrage cool -- > Add kamehameha-like skill to 4th job --> done.
Also reduce the delay of demolition.

If they'd reduced the delay on Barrage and made it stop pulling your character forward on moving mobs, that'd be good enough for me.

Yup, because when I hear Barrage I don't think of a lame 6 hit long delay attack, I think of this:

could also do a combo'd rush barrage like how the people in DBZ always start off a fight:
fast dash into gatling gun attack, but that would present us with a flashy type finisher more than a useful tool :/
