I figured as much, but question.
If it is a hack, then why isn't the 120 cap a 'hard cap'?

PurePanacea Wrote:I figured as much, but question. Same reason why 200 isn't a "Hard cap". What he means is every class / job is level designed the exact same way, the only difference is there's a "Wall" for certain classes / jobs. In this case, there's a "Wall" at 120 for CK and a "wall" at 200 for every other class / job in the game, minus GM / Super GM in where their cap is 255 aka the 8-bit cap. Just because it's there doesn't mean people can't bypass it through illegal means. How else did the potential hack come out? People are forcing their character levels past 200, client side.

PurePanacea Wrote:How exactly is 'every character the same'? It makes no sense, because they're obviously different. Because from a data standpoint every character is the exact same. Code: struct characterThat little blurb is (approximately) representative of every single character in the game. They're all the exact same, the only difference is the values populating those fields and that means a Cygnus has the same functional potential as any other character and the only limits imposed differentiating them from other classes are logical, not physical. Derailment over; You are in fact the obtuse one here.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
