Crystal was the first try actually.

That would be hard since the events of R/S/E took place 3 years before the events of HG/SS/D/P/P and Black and White takes place sometime after that, adding N to the R/S/E storyline wouldn't be very easy without ruining the past canon and with FR/LG and HG/SS they have done a good job of keeping the past canon intact while adding new things.

But it never mentioned when B/W takes place, as far as I remember.
Just cause B/W comes after Gen 4 doesn't mean it comes after in the time line. See: Gen 2 -> 3

Actually we do know it takes place long after the other games.

If you transfer a Pokemon from FR/LG -> DPPT -> BW it says "After a long travel through time..." or something to that effect.

When you talk to Cynthia she speaks about how she went to the Distortion World and was defeated by a young trainer which means Black and White take place after Platinum at the very least.

If they were to make all regions (barring Unova) into one game, they'd have to completely restructure the leveling formulas. Either that, or turn it less into a min/max stat game and into a more skill oriented game. Of course that defeats pokemon's charm in the first place. You also risk player burnout, considering that if we go with the plan to forcefully box every pokemon you caught and used in the last region, you'd have to level up your pokemon all over again, at least 3 times.

With the 3DS spot pass, you can kinda solve the problem by having "patches" after a period of time. You can have one game, all the data already on it but can only be unlocked after getting the DLC for it. Sort of like episodes, except way longer.

Caitlin appears in the Battle Frontier in Gen IV (although only briefly) and she's only 14 in Black/White. And like TheBirds said, Cynthia also talks about the Distortion World.

Seriously. Two regions in one game is fine, but no more. But I'd honestly prefer to see more of Unova instead of the older regions.

I always wanted a game based on The Orange Islands. :f6: That and a game where you get to be part of Team Rocket and climb the ranks. You get to start off at the bottom(of course) and are only allowed ONE pokemon until you advance then you can use two ect ect untill you're at the top and take over for Giovanni for whatever reason. Also would be restrictions on evolution stages depending on your rank? Idk just always something I wanted lol. I was so pissed when yuo were forced to say no when asked to join them in Red/Blue

Maybe I'm crazy but I would like to see another game where you can steal Pokemon. Something Team Rocket and Team Plasma could only dream of doing as easily. Be allowed to steal ANYTHING your opponents have not just a particular kind of pokemon. Make Pokeballs expensive or limited to compensate if this is too broken.

What pokemon needs:

-HM moves should not be pokemon related.
-Every goddam world with every goddam pokemon.
-All villains, even doing a triple battle with the head honcho's.
-Legendaries being treated like legendaries. I want someone who see;s my mewtwo and go "OH pomegranate HOW DID YOU GET THAT".

Lets have the trainer actually grow up. Sure while in kanto a bike is nice, but when I'm in like Hoenn, I want a car. And pineapple surf, I want a boat. In fact we should bring the pikachu set up from pokemon yellow back and have that as an option.

Pokemon Gray could be really cool.

Final battle is Ghetsis with a Kyurem! It would be kinda cool if the final battle was a tag battle with N, where it'd be your Lv50 Dragon with N's Lv50 Dragon VS Ghetsis' Lv80 Kyurem.

Kyurem came from space. If you talk to the people in the town next to it (forgot name) they talk about the meteor crashing down and creating the chasm and the monster dwelling within the cave.

That doesn't mean that Kyurem couldn't have been the original dragon the brothers had.

Some people said that its possible the meteor was just Kyurem splitting, and that the villagers only thought it was from space.

Making this way more complicated than it needs to be. All Pokemon needs is:

-8 Badges, Elite Four and Champion.
-An OK~Decent Plot and an OK "Evil" team.
-Decent After Game. (Battle Frontier, etc)

All this extra badge and region crap is just asking for a muddled mess.
