I'm going to be expecting a hella ton of kids doing a "Pirates vs ____ class" KS wars and shyt pretty soon on Scania. <___< I still love my Night Lord, so I won't be making an InFighter for a while. i still think its funny that you cant shoot a gun up close. might as well be a slingshot.

i dont see why people are so excited about pirates other than theyre simply new and "appealing". gunslingers just look like weak bowmaster and infighters are just wind booster mules to me. infighters have less hp than warriors, but face the same accuracy problems and face the extreme close ranged-ness like a bandit. a major downside since they'd have to hug monster but they dont have anything to help their avoid like bandits do (high avoid and fake).

You obviously dont know much about Pirates....

- Gunslingers are actually quite strong. A gunslinger wh started completely unfunded can 5-hit Newts at 104. Not to mention Battleship Cannon. Problem is everyone thinks Rapid Fire is their main skill, well it isnt. Its all about the Battleship
- Infighters do not have Acc problems, atleast not as bad as warriors.
- Infighters have plenty of HP (Over 2.1k at level 50, and nearly 5400 at level 110)
- For a majority of Infighter skills, they are invulnerable as they are being executed. Also, they have slight delays
- That being said, Backspin Blow and Screw Punch launch you into the monster. But you are also invincible, so I dont see where the close range comes in.
- Infighters can have high avoid, due to Dex being required for their equips as well as Quick Motion, which is basically Nimble Body. Is it anywhere near as high as Bandits? No, but its much better than warriros

I expected the rest of Crimsonwood Keep before Pirates. I doubt if they will add them both in the one patch.

I remember MOG Mag had a small article on MS. (>1/4 a page. Runescape has more and larger articles!) It was on Ariant, but it came out to me, a suscriber, during the CWK hype. Yeah, you're only off by a couple months.

(They had a review a while back. They listed it as grind-heavy, when the character is lvl 10. yes, 10. )

That said, these ads tend to be either way ahead (Warhammer in March), or way behind (The Run- away-from-home MS ads, though I haven't even seen any MS recently).

Use the MTS storage. Put the EQ items in an auction, then take em out. They stay in that storage forever and for free

Yay, I can finally sell my small collection of scrolls and equips that I have saved for Pirates ^_^.

As for actually making a Pirate, I plan to make a Gunslinger next year when their stuff is cheaper.

Terrible news.. hopefully something other than the job class comes with the pirate patch. They did say they had something "big" planned for halloween, and I hope this isn't it.
