I'm going for a completed unova dex as well, last time i did that was with pokémon yellow (Not counting mew, only got a glitched mew back then ._.)

OT: Trying to get my pokémon from diamond to black, just need to borrow a NDS from my sister

Leavanny, Lilligant, Sawsbuck, and hell maybe even Simisage are better than Snivy for in game runs. And I do kinda agree the starters aren't that great this generation. Gen 3 and 4 had the best starters all around.


Anyways, I just finished EV training Gurdurr and Ferroseed. Next I think I'm going to do a ghost type, either Frillish or Golurk. Not sure which yet.

Lilligant is some crazy pomegranate. Pretty much owned me with Quiver Dance and Energy Ball that I had to keep reviving/hyper pot'ing until it ran out of PP...

FFFFFFFFFFFF- I just spent a bunch of time EV training this Golett without giving it Pokerus first.

Yes. I think it's even more than that. But it's still far easier to obtain than shinies because of the way it's spread and trades and such. Trade on the GTS or something a few times and you can probably get it.

Could someone help me evolve this Karrablast to Escavalier? Been breeding one with Megahorn, but I'm trying for the Shell Armour ability instead of Swarm, and I need to know what ability it has.

Bleh, i just hope to get a pokémon with pokérus that is still spreading.

Took me a little while a couple years ago. Not sure # of trades anymore (not many, maybe 10), but I 1) Lost the game and 2) Lost the Pokerus. I forgot to box the Pokemon after taking it out and didn't play for a couple of weeks so it kinda went away

Thinking of what to train...

Current team:

Volcarona - Level 100
Cinccino - Level 83
Staraptor - Level 82
Galvantula - Level 83

Since most of my current team is weak to rock, I need a "switch-to" 5th gen Pokemon for rock-type attacks. I'm also thinking of a Pokemon that can set-up for Volcarona and/or Cincinno. What do you guys suggest?

In that case, damn, cause this Karrablast had amazing IVs but it has Swarm.

In other news, just finished Attack EV'ing my Haxorus - about to check its IVs (caught it as Axew during a road trip, +ATT/-DEF natured (I don't mind the lost bulk that much, making mine into a +ATT/+SPEED one anyway). Workin on Battle Subway to get the speed bracer to speed EV train on ATT EV pokes (since it's maxed out, and they're much easier to find).

I'm about to go SR for a Timid Volcarona w/ decent IVs at Relic Castle. Far too lazy and not enough box room to breed one myself. Also, IV checking in this game takes forever unless you have access to IR battling.

On a side note, anyone try Pokemon Musicals yet? They suck so hard. All it is is dress up and then you watch a two minute thing with the sprites moving around. Wt'f?

You know what's stupid? Not being able to check the legendary's stats/nature after you catch it before the battle with N. Thank god it's been easy to catch (so far).

I told you, caught it during a road trip, trained it to a haxo on ATT ev pokes just in case. I don't want it for competitive anyway (I only use UU/NU pokes).

edit: is anyone willing to trade me some old version exclusives/legendaries just so I can get pokedex entries? Like Dialga, Palkia, Rayquaza, etc.

Grats Sarah! I can help you out. I've got some stuff you can get in your dex. I'm in the process of getting all pokemon from all the GBA ones to silver/pearl to transfer over to my black. My Ruby/Sapphire dex was completely 100%'d, including Jirachi and all that Jazz. I just need to find a USB connector for wi-fi that works that I can bring to school.

Speaking of which, anyone know a good USB Access point thingy for the DS? THe official nintendo one was discontinued in 2007...I found one, but I believe it only works for DSi's, but I'm not sure. Haha

Hmm, I may go buy Pokemon White towards the end of the month so I don't have to go hunting around here for every single thing I need (Landorus anyone?). Also, it would make getting all the starters and other things like version exclusives easier seeing as I can choose a starter, transfer to black, restart, repeat and not have to restart halfway or more through the story. None of my friends at school got White . They all got black like me....

This game sure likes trolling the pomegranate out of me. I SR a Volcarona with perfect Sp. Atk but pathetic speed, and then I SR one with perfect speed but pathetic Sp. Atk
