You are Ridley, a giant dragon. Honestly, you suck without Metal Coat. Just kidding, youre okay. If you werent, Tabuu wouldnt have recruited you. Anyway, youre fast and you have fire in your belly: these are your two main weapons. At night, you may PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Fireball USER. This fireball is weird. There are three possible outcomes with each Fireball: Failure, Success and Sleeper Success. If it fails, the fireball will do nothing. If you achieve a Success, the target will be unable to perform their night action. Upon a Sleeper Success, the target will die. Awesome, huh? Also, if Porky has died and there are no other killers, you may also PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Rush USER to rush the target and kill them. However, you can only send one night action in per night. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.
Kurtle: Shiek
Infection Wrote:Dear Kurtle:
You are Shiek, Zeldas alter-ego. The Challengers love you for your ninja-ness. Link, elf in green, especially loves you because you turn him on. Right now, youre too busy making love to Link to even fight. Yes, you do it EVERY DAY, EVERY NIGHT. If Link dies, though, youll want to take revenge. If Link dies, you may take out your rage one night by sending Infection a PM containing SSMB Night X: Needle Storm USER. By doing this, you will throw a bunch of deadly needles at your target in an act of sweet revenge for your lover. Your target will die. Be careful who you attack, though, because you only have one bundle of needles and youll want to throw them all at once. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Derosis: Lucario
Infection Wrote:Dear Derosis:
You are Lucario, and the spike on your chest is a testament to how BADASS you are. As it is, though, you dont need that spike. Because youre super-fast, no one will notice when you attack them anyway. This will be essential to the Challengers' plight. During the day, you may PM Infection with SSBM Day X: ExtremeSpeed USER. By doing this you will punch them at well, extreme speed. Your target will be stunned and their vote nullified for the day. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Corn: Pokemon Trainer
Infection Wrote:Dear Corn:
You are Brendan, the Pokémon Trainer. Because you are only ten years old (even though you appear older, and Lucas is most likely younger than you), you are not capable of fighting along with the rest of the Challengers. However, you do have your trusty Charizard But lo and behold, he has no PP! And there are no Pokémon Centers around! And you dont have any Ethers or anything! I guess you cant fight with him either. Oh well. At night, though, you may PM Infection with SSMB Night X: Potion USER. By doing this you will give that user a Focus Sash and a Full Restore. This will negate all night actions used on them and will block one kill action. However, the items are only effective for one night; after the day breaks, your target will discard any healing items that they have. You cannot give items to dead players. Be careful about who you give them to! In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
ChaoticCJ: Petey Piranha
Infection Wrote:Dear ChaoticCJ:
You are Petey Piranha, a mutated plant who loves eating Marios. Tabuu has corrupted you (what was there that needed corrupting?) into fighting for the Subspace. You are the groups primary killer, a role that you must take with pride. At night, you may PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Cage Smash USER. By using two cages that you happen to have with you, you will bash your target to death. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.
xBTAx: Yoshi
Infection Wrote:Dear xBTAx:
You are Yoshi, the lovable green dinosaur. Although it is widely accepted that you are male, you are capable of laying eggs by swallowing them. Maybe youre female after all, and Birdo is actually the alpha male but anyway. This ability will be of great use as you aid the Challengers. At night, you may PM Infection with SSMB Night X: Swallow USER. You will swallow your target, and using your very sensitive taste buds, you will be able to learn of their abilities and affiliation in the form of their Role PM. Of course, you will also lay them in an egg. Theyll hatch in the morning, though. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
ShiKage: Porky
Infection Wrote:Dear ShiKage:
You are Porky, a little boy in a big robot. Robot spider, I may add. You love crushing things. Tabuu has recruited you into the Subspace Emissary for the express purpose of crushing things. At night, you may PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Bot USER. By doing this you will send a Porky-Bot to your target, which will blow up and destroy any items your target has. Also, if Petey Piranha has died and there are no other killers, you may also PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Charge USER. You will charge at the target and kill them. However, you can only send one night action in per night so choose carefully. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.
KajitiSouls: Mario
Infection Wrote:Dear KajitiSouls:
You are Mario, the moustachioed frontrunner for the Nintendo franchise. Long days and nights of hoarding your friends for coins have left you tired and weary; as such, the most you can do is help the Challengers decide who to investigate every day. Each day, you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Mira: Diddy Kong
Infection Wrote:Dear Mira:
You are Diddy Kong, the monkey with the Nintendo cap. Youre a bit out of sorts after Nanas murder, but you should be fine given you dont try to fight anyone. You still do want to help the Challengers cause, though, and thus they have invited you into the voting group (even though youre more or less a kid). Each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
NoJobNoRules: Tabuu
Infection Wrote:Dear NoJobNoRules:
You are Tabuu, ruler of all that is Subspace. Youre a figure of blue energy. Thats about it. But youre incredibly powerful, and your might has allowed you to lead the Subspace Emissary in the fight to crush the Challengers. At night, you may PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Shadow Bug USER. This act will send Shadow Bugs to infiltrate your target. You wont be able to control them, but if they die that night they will appear to be part of your team, effectively tricking the Challengers. In addition, if Galleom has died and there are no other killers, you may PM Infection at night with SSBM Night X: Golden Bracket USER. You will transform into a pair of brackets composed of pure energy, kind of like { }. Then you will CRUSH THE ENEMY TO DEATH. Truly, you are credit to team. However, be careful as you may only send in one night action per night. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.
Nalek: Lucas
Infection Wrote:Dear Nalek:
You are Lucas, kid at large. Your buddy Ness isnt here to be butt buddies with you, but hopefully youll be fine with the rest of the Challengers. You ran out of PK Power (also known as PP), so you cant use any of your PKs. However, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. Good luck! You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Shidoshi: Snake
Infection Wrote:Dear Shidoshi:
You are Snake, the old man with the abs. Oh, and you have a penis of power. Just kidding. You suck at fighting, and the only good you can do the Challengers is by hiding. Right now, you have a cardboard box with you. Love that box. At night, you may PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Hide. By doing this you will avoid all night actions that are performed on you. However, you can only use the same box once, and you will randomly get boxes throughout the game. Pray you get a lot. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Synthesist: Ike
Infection Wrote:Dear Synthesist:
You are Ike, a young man with a power level of over 9000. The Challengers have called you their leader for as long as they can remember, and your leadership will prove crucial in the fight against the Subspace. Each day, you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. Of course, because We Like Ike, each of your votes will count for two votes each. Be careful though, as who you vote for may not be the one being lynched that day. Choose wisely! You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
DualReaver: Link
Infection Wrote:Dear DualReaver:
You are Link, elf in green. Fortunately you are of age and not an 11-year-old Toon Link. You can actually fight! Woo! Oh wait, you cant. Because youre too busy making love to Shiek. SPOILER: She wont get pregnant. Ever. If Shiek dies, though, youll want to take revenge. If Shiek dies, you may take out your rage one night by sending Infection a PM containing SSMB Night X: Sword Down USER. By doing this, you will jump over your target and plant your Master Sword on their head, effectively killing them. Youll want to keep the sword dislodged in there, though, so you only have one use if Shiek dies. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
z0mgc00k13: Game & Watch
Infection Wrote:Dear z0mgc00k13:
You are Game & Watch, a two-dimensional figure who has taken up a role as a Challenger. The Challengers have bestowed the title of Judge on you, however you dont know how to do your job and thus have resolved to use a random number generator in dealing with people. At night, you may PM Infection with SSMB Night X: Judge USER. By doing this, you will judge that user using your RNG skills, with a 1/9 chance of killing them for great justice. Hey, its better than nothing! In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Mephisto: Galleom
Infection Wrote:Dear Mephisto:
You are Galleom, a deadly (?) robot thing. Monster. Cyborg. Tank. Anyway, Tabuu has recruited you to fight the Challengers. Your hugeness and mechanical might are of great usefulness to you in this endeavour. At night, you may PM Infection with SSBM Night X: Shockwave USER. In doing this you will send a shockwave to your target, stunning them. They will be unable to talk or act the next day as well as the next night. As well, if Ridley has died and there are no other killers, you may PM Infection at night with SSBM Night X: Missile USER. This should be self-explanatory: you fire a bunch of missiles at your target and kill them. You can only send in one night action per night, though, so be careful. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.
SuperMario64: Popo
Infection Wrote:Dear SuperMario64:
You are Popo, lone Ice Climber. Sorry your love died, by the way. It was really tragic. Traditionally, you two fought together and were very effective; but without her, you cannot fight. You just dont have the will to, and frankly you suck by yourself. However, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
MetaSeraphim: Wario
Infection Wrote:Dear MetaSeraphim:
You are Wario, fart man. Mario hates you because you fart in his face all day, erry day. Because all you do is fart, though, youre not of much use to the Challengers. Nevertheless, you do want the Subspace Emissary gone. Each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
dante9898: Zero Suit Samus
Infection Wrote:Dear dante9898:
You are Samus-sans-Suit, hot blonde in blue. Thanks to your skills with seductively shaking your breasts, you have become one of the Challengers most popular denizens, even among the ladies. However, you dont have your Power Suit. Because of that, you cannot fight along with the men. If you did, though, they would probably be trying to get into your pants suit anyway so itd be more of a bother. However, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Just so you know, you aren't allowed to copy and paste any part of this PM in the gameplay thread, discussion thread or IRC. However, you can tell people that you've claimed a different role, or even the role you have now. This is called roleclaiming.
ElectricSix: Captain Falcon
Infection Wrote:Dear ElectricSix:
You are Captain Falcon. Your car is out of gas, and because of that you cannot help the Challengers by running over your enemies. However, your punches have become near-deadly thanks to the steroids you repeatedly inject yourself with. At night, you may PM Infection with SSMB Night X: Falcon Punch USER. Your target will be blown away by a speedy punch. Because you arent fisting to kill, however (haha), you will only hurt their mouth. As such, they will be unable to talk for the next day and night. If they do, they will die. Aim your punches carefully. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.
Frequently Asked (or Anticipated) Questions
Q: How the pineapple did mafia get hit by RNG kill? (almost) EVERY SINGLE TIME?
A: The way I dealt with RNG kills was, I queued Random.ORG to generate a number from 1-20; that number would correspond to a name on the playerlist. Now, here's the crucial part: when it hits a player that is already dead or dying, I run the generator again. In some cases I had to do it five or six times. The mafia weren't all one-shot hits; it was more of a repeated inconvenience on their part.
Q: Shidoshi's Snake? wut?
A: Shidoshi was corrupted by NoJobNoRules as Tabuu. When he died, he was shown to be Mafia with a kill role, although really he was a townie actiondodger.

Um, that's stupid, Infection. Seriously. How hard is it to just subtract n, where n = number of dead players, from the RNG list you're using to generate the RNG kill? What you did is literally bad hosting and no wonder it ended up hitting mafia after you ran it 6 times, since the percentage of mafia out of all 20 players was greater than 1/4. God damnit. If I had known that was what you were planning to do I would have saved this game some trouble and killed myself.
How is that any more favorable for the town? Tell me that.
You seem to have some sort of gambler's fallacy in your head or something, because every single time I run it, it's completely random and had no influence on any future rolls.
No, I don't have any kind of fallacy in my head. If 6/20 of the players are mafian, and you have to run the RNG 6 times because the first 5 players you hit were dead, a simple probabilistic calculation will show you that by the 6th roll the chances of hitting a mafian are high. Not because of anything about that one specific instance, it alone is random. But just as you can predict the outcome of 100 coin tosses with a bit of critical thinking (without knowing what each individual toss will be), so too can you hazard a guess as to what happens when you do this. -_-
tl;dr version that you missed: You pineappleed with probabilities. One instance should be run and that is the result that should be used. Just remove the dead players next time, damn.
There's even a logical aspect to this that doesn't add up. Why would you keep people who are already dead in a list to be godkilled? I... I just... Never mind. Walking away now.

That's the very definition of gambler's fallacy, so I have no idea what you're thinking.
We'll play it your way, anyway. I generated a list of 100 numbers in the 1-20 range. Using the playerlist as a guide, 1 is Holypie, 13 is Synthesist, 15 is z0mgc00k13 and 19 is dante9898. This is the setup for Day 8, the last day, where Pie had a 25% chance of dying (theoretically speaking). Assuming you're right, after 100 rolls Pie should have a high chance of dying, yes?
There are 80 instances of me having to roll again, and 20 instances of someone dying. Within those 20 instances, townies died in 16 instances and Pie died in 4. That shows a 20% chance of killing a player, and WITHIN THAT 20%, a 20% chance of Pie dying.
Don't get me wrong, obviously Pie having less chance of dying was random too. That's the nature of the generator. But what I'm trying to say is that you really are using gambler's fallacy.
Pie, just a note, you really need to work on your mafia gameplay. I could read you were mafia from a mile away after I died and you started pushing suspicion on Kurtle, combined with some of your more questionable decisions beforehand.
I know I'm terrible as mafia. The thing is, we were backed into a corner with E6s magical reading on Meph, Justin dying and NJNR's death. We needed a target. And that I'm just not mafia all that often.
The mafia has no reason to complain considering their inactivity. Same goes with the town. If Pie had just voted on that last day we could have had a mafia win.
The fact that we had a 3/3 on the mafia on the end was pure chance. End of story.
The only thing was that the times could have been better and ended a little earlier.
I must admit though no one could figure it out the clue. The Doctor was impossible to think of. The Maple Chaos I thought referred to ShiKage's avatar or Holypie's arrows, but me...I guess that makes sense. Arrow thing makes sense, but by this time the clue were more flavor to people than clues.
I actually enjoyed this mafia game, though like almost every mafia game so far, it was not balance properly. This is not Infection's fault. I would have thrown in a neutral and it would have been more interesting.
Actually I didn't vote because I thought it was some kind of weird day like the New Pork City day. I was considering it though. But yeah, it could have easily gone so much better if NJNR forgot his action less.
Infection Wrote:Pit shoots arrows.
Your move.
That video is of his final smash. He shot all of 1 arrow in that video, hardly a clue.
Didn't get to do much in this game other than throwing a pokeball once and a little action on the first days.
I should try to get better at mafia (specially when going town), the few times I was town I was generally killed early for absolutely no reason so I didn't get to do much.
