I feel your pain Sarah, I have been trying to find an Audino for 20 minutes allready. Stupid route 1....

I don't even care for Audino, but I found it and caught it by accident on route 3. Also found a Munna at the dream place in about five minutes.

While you all have been posting your experiences.. I be playing 5 hours straight

But I stopped for dinner, so I'll post what has been done :O

P.S: I love this game. The little features like the 3D city.. the ability effect in the beginning of battles.. the C-Gear + Statistics + Key Items..
This game is definitely my favorite Pokemon game, aside from the original Gold Version which will always be my favorite game ever.

I'm trying to find a male Tympole but I keep getting Pidoves, Timburrs, and female ones. This game sure likes trolling me.

Uh... wtp? There's only 8 boxes? Is there some way to get more? How am I supposed to store all 649 pokemon?

If there's no way to get more than this is almost enough to make me want to stop playing.

You get more boxes when you catch more pokemon.
I found an audino in like 5 minutes when I used a repel. I'm not sure if I hit the shaking patch, since I was running, and I suddenly found it. =P

Found another Audino; since I caught the one before I decided to kill this one. It was lvl 11, and gave 738 exp. Damn good grinding if you can find them...

I'm at the Pokémon League now. I still have to go back for some TMs though, which aren't that hard to find really: just slide down the left from the top of Victory Road, you have to go 2 times, once from the leftmost tile and once from the right of the Pokémon ranger. The TMs are Wild Charge and Dragon Claw, which, of course, are very important to have at this point.

About the grass: just buy a bunch of repels, walk around outside of the grass, and once it starts shaking use a repel. I think it's faster to train by just running around in the doubles grass and fighting things.

Catch 8 Pokemon and put each in a box. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I didn't know you could run outside the grass, very useful for my grindan.

Went back and got a Drilbur in Wellspring cave. Took me a while, because every time the dust spot came up, I got caught in another battle. Then I killed it the 1st time.

BTW, there's a guy near the 2nd gym with three Tympoles. My god he's annoying to fight, probably hardest trainer in the game so far unless you chose Snivy. Dat Supersonic and Bubblebeam.

Big, BIG, yes! It's awesome. It's a pain to train in the early stages, but once it get's past Lv.26 it can start raping just about anything. My Excadrill has Slash, Metal Claw, Rock Slide, Earthquake and is Lv.46 with 159 HP, 143 Attack and 105 Speed. It will also get a boost on the desert route because of it's abilty.
