Dear Maplers,

Through community reports we have discovered an issue withpotions and foodselling NPCs. All MapleStory game servers will be offline. While we work on addressing this issue we currently do not have a maintenance schedule. We will provide you with updates as often as we can.

Wow. They're reacting in under six weeks.

What's this issue they're talking about?
And if it was present BEFORE the scheduled SC, why couldn't they have done it along with it... so competent.

Because it was one they introduced during the SC.

inb4 no NX compensation due to how early this was and how short it lasted compared to the last meso exploit.
I'd like my 50-100k NX though lol

By definition -hime- is right on that one.

The community tends to refer to any action that results in massive influx of mesos as an exploit though. Whether or not Nexon glitched it (unintended consequence), massive amounts of players abused it, and so we shift our vocabulary towards exploit rather than glitch. "Meso glitch" doesn't really sound right in this situation nor does it adequately explain what went down.

I don't get why there was a discount on potions in the first place..

They're already cheap enough Rolleyes

there just gonna fix it in one place and forget about it in other places

Just like the pink scrolls exploit [Going to gaga in Singapore]

Question for people who got to log on today, did they fix the game delay problem?

Even if.. Spirit Week potion discount event was only like a 5%/10% discount? and on Sundays. Not a whole 50%/75% discount..

slightly off topic: They still haven't removed those "Maple Tips" for spirit week lol..

well, it made me laugh too, but mostly by the fact that billions of meso just entered the economy, and rather than posting something serious, she instead decides to correct a spelling error or whatever from a poster.

even so, hime seems like a cool person, that has a terrible fanbase, and terrible bosses, AKA kill the messenger.

Hime is one of the very few GMs that actually communicate with the general public of MS. How would Nexon look if he was a jerk to everyone? Pretty bad since he technically represents Nexon in a social way. He has to seem cool or people will have even less respect for Nexon.

Hime's not a GM.
Hime's also a woman.
Hime's also known to force feed false hope for players that don't want a rollback. This has been done four times already in the past half year.
