PvP time-limit in gMS...

If you havent read about it yet, kMS recently updated PvP in a way, which was punch to the eye of western players. PvP is now only available for certain time of the day. Optimized for Korea, of course.

Now what I'm afraid is that gMS PvP will be optimized only for the mid-day (PST). I know that most of the kMS legal playerbase is from Korea, but gMS has ignored Europe, Australia and mid-east so many times before.

I like PvP and even with the lag, it seems good exp and more fun than grinding. And most importantly, I need my 130lvl Pole Arm with Fast speed.

Please surprise me Nexon. Please...

if nexon put a time-limit on PVP, its just dumb....

first they implement profession kinda late (runescape have it for how long already?) then a broken PVP system, now with a limit? LOL.

best is just adding a limit of how many PVP points you can get a day, same thing as Dojo, iirc, you can get only 1600 dojo points/day? better than make it only available through a few hours/day.

But they don't want you to play GMS, why should they care?

If you're in Europe yeah expect to not PvP.

Expect a copy and paste of what KMS gets with maybe different times.

While this is true of Europe, it's not true of Australia, the Middle East, and any other area that doesn't have its own MapleStory. Why, they even started selling NX cards in Australia.

This thread is all speculation to begin with anyways. It might as well be about the likelyhood of Nexon America making PvP somehow cost NX for all this is worth.

I don't see it happening, at least not just for PST/PDT. Korea only has one timezone, versus the four that gMS is mainly played in.

Because they still call this gMS and because lot of people are going to quit the whole MS if they ignore us. I know some already have. eMS is destroyed by exploit(s) and game-breaking events, people are already moving to gMS.

While this is true, the same is also true about things like pypq and dojo and I and many other still enjoy those occasionally. There is just no reason at all for a limit so it's rather depressing for us europians if it does get to GMS.

IF those items are easily obtainable then pvp will have a purpose. But if it turns out to be like dojo which requires a ridiculous amount of time and effort dont expect everyone to be on the pvp train.

So they changed it a bit for some reason, PvP is open from 5PM ~ 10PM KST now.

That's what the headline will be. Rather than letting people do it whenever, specifically when it's not crowded, people will instead be forced to rush it within a short time span and god forbid anyone has a job or homework to attend to. Or, you know, anything to do that doesn't revolve around playing MapleStory. It'll be the next big cash scam run by Nexon America. Look forward to the prices of items skyrocketing where you'll need NX to either get them or to afford them.

I dont care. It shouldnt be easy to get 130lvl Fast, 8slot PA anyways. That there is best shiet Aran can get, so hell yes it's worth it. At least if gMS purple surfboards will stay as rare as they are now.

Doesn't bother me one bit.

My day starts at 1pm, and ends at 3am. Plus I have next to no interest in maplestory anymore anyway so it's all a matter of how addicted you are to pulling all nighters on this game.
